About the Author

NY Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Lexi Blake lives in North Texas with her husband, three kids, and the laziest rescue dog in the world. She began writing at a young age, concentrating on plays and journalism. It wasn't until she started writing romance and urban fantasy that she found the stories of her heart. She likes to find humor in the strangest places and believes in happy endings no matter how odd the couple, threesome, or foursome may seem.

Her first novel, Their Virgin Captive, was a collaboration with New York Times bestselling author Shayla Black. There are six more books available in the Masters of Ménage series: Their Virgin's Secret, Their Virgin Concubine, Their Virgin Princess, Their Virgin Hostage, and Their Virgin Secretary, and Their Virgin Mistress.

In addition to the Masters of Ménage series, she is the author of the Masters and Mercenaries series. The first ten novels, The Dom Who Loved Me, The Men with the Golden Cuffs, A Dom is Forever, On Her Master's Secret Service, Love and Let Die, Dungeon Royale, A View to a Thrill, You Only Love Twice, Master No, From Sanctum with Love, and Dominance Never Dies are available now, along with the novellas Sanctum, Unconditional, Dungeon Games, Cherished, Luscious, Adored, Just One Taste, and Devoted. Submission is Not Enough, the twelfth novel in the Masters and Mercenaries series, will be released on October 25th, 2016.

In 2013, Lexi also began releasing her urban fantasy series, Thieves. The first five books, Steal the Light, Steal the Day, Steal the Moon, Steal the Sun, and Steal the Night are available now. Ripper, and Addict, the first two novels in the follow-up series, Hunter: A Thieves Series are also available now.

Another classic Lexi Blake

I found the plot a bit too tangled to follow until the last third of the book. I was disappointed in the conclusion of this installment. Hopefully, the next book in this series can pick up the pace a bit and flesh out the characters a bit more.

Well where do I start? It is no secret that Lexi Blake is one of my favourite authors. Perfectly Paired, although not a particularly long read was amazing. One of the things I love about Lexi Blake is the diverse characters she creates. I love that in her this spin off series from her Master & Mercenaries series, the men and women of Topped are often returned veterans; men and women who have sustained injuries and are learning to live with them. Ms. Blake does not shy away from the harsh realities that many returned veterans find themselves faced with. She writes about them with a great deal of dignity, compassion and caring. Perfectly Paired is a wonderful example of this, Sebastian Lowe is such a man, badly injured and now living life with two prosthetic legs, disillusioned by those he loved and exiled by his family. Tiffany Hayes is the waitress at Top who catches the eye of the cranky and at times scary sommelier. Sebastian is a sexy alpha male who Tiffany has been half in love and lust with him for ages. When when circumstances push these two together you can be sure there will be BDSM scenes with smoking hot sex that will melt your heart and your panties. Sebastian is determined to keep his walls up and ensure that Tiffany doesn’t break through; he doesn’t count on her absolute determination to show him that what they have is real and will last. This was an emotional read at times as Sebastian struggled to come to terms with the issues caused by his past. I will say that once again Tiffany was a strong, feisty and, smart and determined submissive and I loved her. Lexi Blake’s characters are never one dimensional, there are always so many layers and Sebastian and Tiffany no exception. Each book in the series just seems to get better and better. Perfectly Paired is a beautiful story of triumph over heartache, a growth of a deep and committed love; one that made me laugh and sigh.

Tiffany Hayes has had her sights set on Sebastian Lowe for some time. He is Top’s sommelier and she is desperately drawn to him. She wants to get to know him, spend time with him if only he would let his guard down. War damaged his body and his soul as a double amputee Sebastian has had a hard time letting people in. Tiffany is determined to show him she is the one who can help heal his wounds and fight his demons. Sebastian is not going to make it easy for the feisty Tiffany but she is not one to give up on the people she loves. I really enjoyed this installment of the Topped Series by Lexi Blake. She is at the top of my favorite writer's list and I drop everything to read one of her stories. This one really got to me on an emotional level. Sebastian has so many demons from the ones he fights because he lost both his legs to war and his family disowning him. Tiffany is just the right girl to help bring him out of his self-imposed emotional prison. When Sebastian and Tiffany start to build a relationship and he begins to relax and make friends with his co-workers it just made me smile. I thought the chemistry between these two was spot on and I looked forward to their alone time. Even though Sebastian was holding back Tiffany wasn’t going to let him shut her out. When he realizes, he loves her and wants a life with her but is still torn as to whether he is good enough for her. Then the big twist I won’t give anything away but it’s a life or death hold your breath situation that brings it all to a close. This couple is truly Perfectly Paired. As always with Lexi’s stories, there is some suspense and action to go along with the romance. I loved, love, loved it. Another great read for me. Highly recommend the series.

Perfectly Paired caught me by surprise with it’s delicious romance and witty banter. If you've been following my reviews for a while, you know that I have a knack for completely misunderstanding a books blurb and ending up with a book in the middle of a series or one that I might not have picked on my own. This book happened to be both of those things. Again I misread the blurb (or perhaps I'm not savvy on the BDSM lingo yet? lol) and found myself with another BDSM read that was also in the middle of a series. Honestly, I don't know why that particular trope isn't one that I seek out knowingly. Most of the one's that I've ended up reading I've actually enjoyed. I've always felt like they aren't my "cup of tea" but maybe they really are? Because I really enjoyed reading this book. Perfectly Paired is a hot read y'all! Our book boyfriend, Sebastian, is a wounded warrior struggling to keep his dominance while our heroine, Tiffany, has set her sights on Sebastian and won't stop til she has him. I obvi missed the backstory with all of the other characters in this book but the author gives us enough information to be able to completely enjoy the story without having read the previous books. Our BBF and Heroine have been lusting quietly after each other for a while but Sebastian's insecurities have kept him from getting his girl. Or it may be because he's a super dominant DOM (I know that's redundant. I'm still learning the BDSM lingo and don't want to offend. ) and doesn't think cute and sweet Tiffany can handle him? Whatever the case, these two find themselves living together temporarily for work and of course the sparks fly. I thoroughly enjoyed this book y'all! The BDSM parts were tastefully written and none of those scenes were hard for me to read. I actually enjoyed reading the POV of a head-strong submissive and how she truly wanted her man to dominate her. My heart ached for Sebastian, but I loved how Tiffany showed him the tough love he needed to move past his insecurities and start living the life he deserves. I give Perfectly Paired 4 out of 5 Krissy's Stars! I think I might take a peek at the other books in this series since I enjoyed this one so much... Haha! Xo- K *I was generously given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Perfectly Paired is a memorable and emotional trip of hope, love and forgiveness. Sebastian is his own worst critic. Although, not obvious to the naked eye he carries the scars of tragedy and self-loathing within his deeply troubled soul. Once a war hero, he now feels like a fraud without the career that left him a broken man. Tiffany adds a ray of light to his life and makes him want to be a better man. Can she rescue this dark hero before his demons destroy them both? Perfectly Paired merges sensuality and faith on a poignant odyssey of enlightening self discovery, compassion and redemption. Love is just a small part of the bigger picture. Learning what it takes to move forward is the reward.

Sebastian returned from war broken, or at least that is how he saw himself, but Tiffany saw something different. Thrown together by circumstances and a meddling friend they find that they are good for each other. I love all the books in this series.
