A review by Blake: A very good book. The mystery was very exciting, I just couldn't put it down until it was finished. It was too suspenseful.

I absolutely loved this book, the author did a wonderful job of incorporating real historical events with fiction. I had tried to read this one other time, however I did not finish it. I am glad I did finish it though, I really enjoyed it and I learned something new that I had not learned before. I highly recommend this book for any one who likes to read mystery's, American Girl, or History.

Who is trustworthy? Who is a spy? What a tangled web of lies. Felicity must learn who to trust and who to be leery of in this mystery at King's Creek. A new person has come to the Wentworth plantation, is this person a friend or a foe, and how will Felicity know? Go along with Felicity and discover the truth. This mystery novel is fascinating and will hold your attention and keep you reading straight through in one day. *Peril at King's Creek was great!

As a lover of American Girls, of course I found this book exciting! I also love mysteries. This book combines suspense and history in an equally satisfying tale of colonial times. If you are a Felicity fan, you'll like this book. If you have not yet experienced the books of 'One of the merriest girls in Virgina' please read this. You will love it anyway. I would defiently reccomend this.
