Like I said in the headline, Jason Becker is 10 times greater than Yngwie. He plays just as fast but plays heavier and with more soul. Dont get me wrong I love Yngwie. Too bad he is in his current condition otherwise I would purchase every album new album he put out on its release date.

Jason started playing guitar when he was 5. he met marty friedman when he was 16, they recorded two albums with cacophony, "Go Off!" and "Speed Metal Symphony" jason was 17. Jason also recorded a solo album "Perpetual Burn" then one year later he got his big gig when he got accepted into david lee roth's band, but sadly one week later he was diagnosed with ALS. he cant move or speak, but he can communicate with his eyes thanks to a system his dad invented. he composed music on his computer while als was destroying his body, he managed to finish his next album called "perspective" If you want my opinion, Jason Becker is one of the best guitarists/composers of all time. This whole album is played with emotion, not just really fast guitar, there is wide range of style in jason's music.he may not of been the fastest guitar player, but its not about the speed of of the music, its about the content.im 16 and have been playing guitar for almost 10 years, i think i would know GOOD music when i heard it, Jason becker stand out more then anybody else.(ive heard them all)
