Perspective in Proper is in keeping with a matter of perspectives. The author had attended a relative’s funeral, and there was mourning and an avenue for “outside of the obvious” reasons for humor. There was a time and a need for release through laughter and smiles while keeping it proper and in perspective as to why the author and his family were there.
Not to mention flight delays up to three hours on the way home. While many complained, the author’s perspective was rather late and alive!
