Michelle Tullep: Of Evans’ aviation adventures, Petals of Canna is my favorite. The flying in the Amazon rain forest is interesting and so is the bio-intrigue but the faith that two people demonstrate for each other that gives them the strength to over come seemingly insurmountable obstacles may be what makes me appreciate this story the most. There is a small amount of violence, but no foul language or explicit sex in this story. For a relatively short novel there is a lot in it that makes it a wonderful read.
