I ordered this book because it promised "easy recipes" but the "recipes" are way too easy. It's more of an assembly book (type of: make spaghetti, put sauce and a vegan hot dog on it). I was very disappointed because it is not a really cookbook but more of a guide on how to combine certain foods to make a meal (something that really does not have to be written in a book; e.g. spread peanut butter on bread). The book is also designed for microwaves only.

The recipes are easy to follow, and most have just a few simple ingredients. Trying to find healthy, quick, meatless recipes has been a challenge, but this book is full of them.

I'm not vegan but the recipes in this book are so cheap and easy(plus tasty!). Would recommend this to anyone. Don't let the PETA name scare you.

The ideas are pretty good but all of the foods are so unhealthy that I wouldn't want to eat them anyway

Oh this cookbook is amazing! I can make delicious food in a matter of minutes, which is awesome because I work full time and have a full college schedule with max credits, so time is a luxury, and especially being vegan, it's not like I can just waltz into any fast food joint for something to eat, so there were times I would just go without eating, but now I don't have to, I can make these recipes quickly, they fill me up and most of all I cannot stress enough how yummy and cheap these recipes are! I recommend this book to EVERYONE vegan or not!

I am a current college student who's vegan and this book is great! When I only have a few minutes in between classes for lunch, I know I can turn to this cookbook, whip something up and still make it to class on time. Additionally, my meat-eating friends all love it--it gives them an easy reference on what vegan food is and how to make it. This is a definite must-have for any college student or for anyone who knows a vegan but isn't sure what to make them. Love this book!

0 stars if I could do it. PETA sucks and I wish they would burn in firey flames. Never read the book and never bought it, but if it's from PETA, it sucks like the devil coming into your room.
