I have had a keen interest in food and its psychological and physical effects since a teenager. I have developed over the years a desire to help people simplify/empower their relationship with healthy food. I hope that this cookbook will give people new favourites that they look forward to eating, as apart of their regular routines.
I am not a qualified (or profess to be) psychologist or nutritionist, but merely wish to share a lifetimes observation and research with others wanting to enjoy eating a tasty, healthy diet that will improve their health on many levels.
I am graduate of Nursing from Sydney University, who paid her way by working in restaurants as a waitress and sometimes as an extra pair of hands cooking. I have worked for Jenny Craig Weight Loss Centres. I also worked as part of a team caring for people in a private mental health clinic, specialising in eating disorders and depression.
I worked in London for 6.5 years within the investment banking technology arena.
So obviously (?!), the thing to do after all of that and having 3 children is to write a cookbook!
