This is the first Troy Soos short story I have read and it was a real pleasure. Soos gives an insight into the early years of his character Mickey Rawlings and a look at the minor leagues of the day as well as his usual insights into life in the early 20th Century. A must read for baseball and especially Mickey Rawlings series fans.
Very good vintage baseball mystery with a couple twists that make Troy Soos' writing sso satisfing!
