Overview

For twelve years, from his one-man detective agency on South Dixie Highway, private investigator, Lou Steigerman has made a modest but steady living chasing down wayward spouses, insurance cheats, and the odd missing person. All that changes when an old acquaintance, Jim Brewer, hires Lou to find out who killed Jim's wife, Suzanne. As the murder investigation unfolds, Lou enlists his ex-wife, his landlord, and beautiful, young attorney, Jessica Cormack to help solve the case. The murder investigation morphs into something much more sinister, and Lou finds himself up against a ruthless adversary who will stop at nothing to keep him from solving the case. Throw in a nosy crime reporter and an interfering client, and as Lou say's "I have a perfect excuse to take up drinking."
