Pictures that help students with fractions and percent. Great for students who have trouble learning without seeing.

Fractions, Percents, and Decimals are a huge part of the fifth grade math curriculum. This would be a fantastic book to add to the curriculum.

This book tries to connect fractions to decimals and percents, but it shows no mathematical calculations showing how one is derived from the other. If I would use this book I would have to fill in many of the unexplained references to decimals and percents. Many pictures do not illustrate the fraction properly. For example, if one did not know a pizza had 8 slices the reader could not connect 1/8 to the picture. The writer is an elementary school teacher who is described as being flummoxed by fractions, decimals and percents. This book make me think he is still flummoxed.

This book tells of how different percents. decimals, and fractions can be made with different objects.

This is a book that explains fractions, decimals, and percents using real things in life so that it is easy to understand. This would be a good book to use in math class when teaching fractions.
