I love this book it is great. It is a great addition to anyone trying to tone up or lose weight. It is easy to understand with nice pictures. It is cool to keep it at your bedside and review what you want to work on the next morning. Its just wonderful go get one today, really! You wont be disappointed.

Instructions and illustrations make this a good alternative to a video..and you can tke it along when traveling.

Anyone truly interested in Pilates will find this book most helpful. Included in the book is a brief introduction and explanation of Pilates, followed by a step by step guide to how to perform the exercises. To make the instructions even simpler, there are colorful illustrations, demonstrating how to perform each exercise. Each page is devoted to one particular exercise, making the instructions very easy to understand and perform. At the bottom of each exerise, there is a small box that tells the reader how many times to perform that particular exercise, based on whether the reader's goal is muscle tone or weight loss. The book itself is a hard-cover book with spiral binding which makes it so much easier to open the book to a particular page without the book closing. The book is divided into two parts...beginner exercises and advanced exercises allowing the reader to choose which level is best for him/her. I highly recommend the book for those interested in incorporating Pilates as part of their exercise routine.
