It's been ten or more years since I've read this book but it was a major wow then and even now utterly unique in my memory. A young woman taking a time share commerical weekend gets on an a elevator and is wisked back to the eve of the Revolutionary war and into the hands of priates. The young woman wants no part of that and her escapes and subsequent recaptures lead to love. But the war for independance isn't over for this patriot and his bride, nor for his Tory family. And the elevator goes back and forth and appears when it wants too.

I haven't read this book in years, but i can give you a run down of what all transpired. Pirates, and My Outlaw got me hooked on time travel romances years ago. Duncan's sense of humour combined with Pheobe's sharp tongue and wit make for moments of sweet hilarity; while their timeless love transcends all.

I love Linda, so anything she writes is great. I loved the connection between the past and future in this book. And of course the characters are very deep and real feeling. I get lost in her books
