I liked these stories but, I wish I would have known these stories were cliffhangers from a series of their own. 276 pages

Cute, short stories, nothing special but ok.

I really enjoyed this three-story book, especially with the west theme running throughout! Great idea. I think my favorite was Ethan's Bride as I have always been fascinated by the old custom of mail-order brides. Ankrum did a very good job of bringing to light some of the dynamics that show up when two people who know almost nothing about each other marry - there are always ghosts of past hurts that show up to deal with. Super job by all three writers!

I liked the first and last stories. The second story was not my taste at all!!! The first story is well written, and is a good read. The second story is about a whore and a gun slinger. They are not good people and I could not get past what they were. They also did not seem to love each other and were not honest with each other, and they sure don't trust each other. Then the book ends on a cliff hanger, with another book to get. I hate that. The third story is very good and i liked it very much. The girl is strong yet all women. The man is manly without being to much a jerk. I thought at first he was not going to be likable, but it all turns out good in the end. I would recomend this book to my friends.
