This was the very first manga i owned. It is very adictive though it may confusing. But once you understand it it gives you mixed feelings. it made sad and scared at the same time.

this manga was awesome! i found the first parts a little confusing but once you read the second-fifth, it all pans out. good for anyone who knows how to read it and anyone who loves manga.

This book is so great!! It has a confusing beginning but as you read more, you will start to understand. Once you read Planet Ladder, you will get very into this book and want more and more....trust me. In this book..you can learn about what a robot/doll can do......like give you water in a certain way....hehe. There is a very strong bond between Kaguya and the robot/doll Gold which you would really want to read about. Very intresting....try the book!!! :)

The first volume is pretty good. A little slow at first, it picks up near the end. The only problem I had was that reading it on NOOK was a little weird since I can't enlarge the picture or anything.

I thought that this book was very over powering in the sense that I could not put it down. I was sucked in from the beginning. I would recommend this to any manga lover that doesn't have a short attention span. Like other reviewers have said, it maybe confusing if you don't pay close attention to every detail.

Given to me to read by my friend i finished this book in like a half an hour(i read fast) It was so good. The girl in the story has one true passon- tarot cards and she always get one of the worst for her future~ the blank card. not as bad as the Tower but still bad. Then she gets placed in another world with things like organic gold (that's a weapon) and the mad prince Seeu is after her. (i think that would be fun but then again im weird, always waiting for some paranormal thing to happen) ooooo i can't wait for the next book

Planet Ladder was one of those great manga's that you get sucked into along with the character. This book went into more detail about how Kaguya is to bring peace to the nine worlds. Gold, the cute doll, starts to turn into Kagami at times, which is very interesting...The story line might get confusing at times, so its good to read it over...but overall you'll be begging for the third book.

This manga was extremely extraordinary! If you have read the 'Publisher's Reveiw', don't even bother to include that into either your first or second volume of Planet Ladder. If you are a first time reader, the story is told by a young girl named Kaguya. She is your normal high school girl, but only she was found abandoned on the side of the road, and was adopted by a psycopathic mother, and a stressed out brother. She also enjoys one other thing, Terot cards. So, you can basically figure out how this story winds up. It is you basic 'robot' meets girl manga. Oh, I also forgot to mention anything about her 'secret stalker from another world'... I guess you'll just have to read it!
