"I heard she used to be a big time photographer...then one day she just stopped taking pictures. Nobody knows why."

Brilliant! This book has been by far the easiest read and best written book I have read in a long time. I found myself wondering if this story that the author came up with was a true story. The way the book flowed made me feel like it was a real life account of someone. I have to say I laughed and I cried and I lost myself in the life of the main character, feeling things that she was going through. This author made it a point to make you feel included by informing you of what you need to know about the artistic world so that you don't feel left out of any part of a conversation the characters might have. I can't say that I have lost myself in a book like this in a long time and to the author I say Thank You. Wonderful read for someone that needs a romantic story. I highly recommend it. I for sure Plan on reading it again. Reviewed by Lynn Kneeland; Paper Mustang.
This book was the very first nookbook I ever bought and I was not disappointed. This is not your typical love story. It starts out as one kind of love story and then twists into a completely different story a third of the way through. It's a story of love, loss, losing yourself in pain, and finding yourself again. The author has written a few other books available on her website that I will hopefully been reading soon as well. This book reads more like a movie than your typical novel. Some have critiqued her for being "too detailed", but I happen to think it adds depth and richness to the characters lives and personalities. Sure it could have probably been a little shorter and some of the detail could have been left out, but I can certainly see that the author had clearly defined characters in mind when she wrote it. And once I hit the twist about a third of the way through, I was hooked!
