Growing up in the inner city ghetto is hard for some but when you were born before your time everything seems simple.

The Gardens were known for its vicious ways from coast to coast. Even Bill, a big time drug pusher and Jesse, the leader of the LMG Gang couldn't stop Youngblood from becoming the biggest drug pusher in the city of Memphis. But, when the dominos started falling, they all fell fast!
The lost of Jelly Roll, Youngblood's mentor wouldn't be his only lost. The betrayal of friends would cause him to lose Sonji, the love of his life, and much, much more than he was willing to give up!
Even though this book is a work of fiction, it does have some true messages for African Americans, especially young black males. It is time to get our acts together before we find ourselves locked away with a life sentence or worst, pushing up daisies. We need to stop killing one another because as African Americans we never know if we are taking the life of a distant relative that has been separated from us through slavery.
