A world empty of life except for human beings, humanity is trapped in a fallen paradise, that has now become a purgatory to most, a hell for many and a heaven for those who have taken advantage of the 'True God's' dissapearence.
This is due to the appearence of the False God, who was said to have struck down the True God and taken the Holy Mountain and City hostage and though obliterating any who dare come near, this being has remained reclusive, never leaving their domain. Just what their motives are, who this False God is or what their end game is remains unknown, as years became decades and decades becomes centuries and still...
Nothing changes.
With no purpose for existing in this lifeless world and with no hope to ascend into the 'Home Of The Gods' and complete the spiritual journey of the human soul, as used to happen once upon a time before the True God fell, humanity, divided and desperate, both longing for rest and life, is about to reach its boiling point of frustration and anger.
Playground Of Gods is the end of a story that begun long ago, but the beginning of the story of the last soul to arrive to the Other Side, a spirit known as Janus and with his arrival...

In Volume 01, Janus awakens to find himself on the Other Side, in an empty, silent, city.
That's when he sees, flying around the city, two beings locked in a fierce duel and though he had no way of knowing at the time, the events of that day will forever seal his fate as he sees just what happens, when humanity is allowed to run amock in God's kingdom...
From statues come to life, to a mysterious girl sworn to protect him, to having to fight for his freedom and existence in a way the largest group of humanity see fit otherwise, in Volume 01, Janus risks being erased from existence permanently.
This is the journey of one soul called to do amazing things, though if he will have the physical and mental resolve to see it to the end, remains to be seen...
