I bought this book for ten dollars, hoping i would like the poems. It turns out that he is a proud athiest who hates God and writes poems about "bad angels" or whatever. This offends me because I am a Catholic Christian. I also found his worke depressing and dark. If you are not a fan of this, do not buy it!

Your eyes tell the story of a time. Where birthmarks and footsteps were how we told eachother apart. Good eye, sniper. I'll shoot you out. The words you scribbled on the wall, decribe the friends you didn't have. I called you when the time is right, to a Favor Manor.

Most people dont really understand that in Poe's poems that he didnt think that Angels were good. So in alot of his poems you get thinking that he is evil or hates God. Well if you like depressing tragic lyical poems then you will love Poe's work.
