About the Author

Carol Allis has been writing poetry since her father gave her a manual Underwood typewriter when she was seven. She has spent most of her working life in public service. She currently writes news for a living as a public information officer for Hennepin County in Minneapolis, paring down governmentalize into words ordinary people can understand. She wants to help bring back the loving link that used to exist between ordinary people and their poets.
