For me, life is all about relationships with my Creator, family, friends and with the strangers who have briefly been placed in my life for a reason. Hearing people's stories and watching people live out their lives through different experiences, encourages me to write words through the style of poetry. That is why I have entitled this book of poems that I have written during my lifetime, "Poems From the Heart".

About the Author

Poetry is something that I love to compose. However, the words never come with a blank piece of paper set before me. Instead, poems are only written when there is a specific purpose. I cannot take credit for them, even though it is my hand who writes them. God is the one who gives me the inspiration for words when the time arises. They usually come when someone is hurting, needs encouragement, a good laugh; or when a deep part within the center of my soul has been pierced.

Recently I have been told by my doctor to get my life in order.
As you read these poems, I hope you can see through the pages that my life's journey has been a wonderful experience with many people and with the Lord by my side. I can't wait until my journey is complete on this earth and maybe some day I will get to meet you in person; another stranger who will touch my heart.
