About the Author

Richard Allan Burns is a writer of poetry, novels, and short stories. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from The University of California at Santa Barbara and worked as an engineer for 29 years at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies.

He is the father of two girls, now grown, and has two granddaughters. He enjoys playing ragtime guitar pieces for fun and creates family videos.
