About the Author

The Author: Ori Kritz was born in Israel, studied Hebrew Literature and philosophy at Tel Aviv University and Yiddish literature at Columbia University, New York. She taught at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and co-authored a three-volume survey of kibbutz fiction.
