About the Author
Kathryn Bonita Gough started writing poetry when she was seven years old. In the third grade, her teacher enjoyed her poem about the acclaimed opera singer, Marian Anderson, so much, that she had the class perform it in a Black History program for the entire school. Kathryn is currently a biology teacher and lives with her husband, David, and three children, Maria, Dawud, and Salimah in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born and raised in Mound Bayou, MS, a historic municipality in the Delta of Mississippi. You can contact Kathryn and comment on her book at www.facebook.com/poetryafterparis.
