About the Author

Peter Baksa has advanced degrees from a Big Ten university and did research and study in the schools of architecture, finance, and law. He sat on the board of a bank that grew from a small-town bank into a multistate, $3 billion juggernaut. After being elected president of a small Illinois symphony, he took it from near bankruptcy to sold-out concerts. He has seen poor-working through scholarships, odd jobs for the university, writing and playing original songs with his band, and also dragged himself over to the brighter side of life, closing his first real estate deal in time to pay off his student loans as well as provide seed money for his boutique real estate company. When he's not working on his books or speaking professionally, he helps out with such charities as the Make a Wish Foundation, the Starlight Foundation, and Broward's Children Center, raising money and creating interest in these organizations through events that he created and successfully initiated.

I was hesitant to read another book about manifesting, but this one came highly recommended. Soon I was intrigued by the story Peter Baksa told about his early beginnings and how he became so very successful at such an unbelievably young age. By the time I got to the manifesting part, I was eager to read what he had to say. I was not disappointed. The formula for creating what you want is similar, regardless of who is writing it but Baksa writes with authority because 1) his life demonstrates that it works and 2) he builds his formula on science, spirituality and a huge portion of common sense. He states in the preface, "Most of this book lays out how things work in the universe and how you can access the point of power yourself." And he does just that. Divided into three sections—Theory, Science and Application—the book gives you the what, the why and the how of manifesting. You will read about vibration, the Law of Attraction, the power of thought and more. You will dance (well, some of us crawled) through quantum theory and the discussions of Schrödinger's cat and the Zero Point Field among other things. And then you bring the gems you have mined in these first two sections to the application—the "how to" and Baksa gives you the tools you need. For those of you who are followers of Abraham or The Secret, you will find that Baksa confirms and expands on everything you have been taught. No contradictions. Great expansion. All good stuff. If you have been toying with manifesting but gave up because you didn't get what you want as fast as you wanted it, this book may fill in the gaps for you. If you say "Bah, Humbug" about anything related to manifesting, this book gives you a foundation built on science that is hard to refute. If you are new to the whole idea of manifesting, this is the clearest, most concise and most complete explanation I have read and knowing the point of power makes it quite compelling. Who should read it? Anyone who wants to create a better life. "But wait," you say, "what is the point of power?" I guess you need to read the book. Baksa explains it much better than I can paraphrase.

This book is very insightful, honest and compelling on the subject of the Law of Attraction. Especially the point about getting more out of any given situation in your life, taught me great lessons. The book is as well scholarly and sophisticated review of scientific literature yet easily digestible for the general public. Kudos to the author.

"When you change the way you look at things, you change the things you are looking at." P. B. Peter Baksa's The Point of Power validates the law of attraction, the power that our minds have to manifest our thoughts into existence. This work answers questions we ask ourselves in moments of doubt and in moments of glory, rhetorical questions that often do not have a satisfactory answer. The author's unique, philosophical and scientific method unveils the means to achieve our ends. He makes it remarkably simple - "Intend, declare and detach" - Peter's three key words pave the way of our ideals and dreams into reality. I read it, and it made sense. I live it, and it makes even more sense. This work is a well of inspiration, one sourced in a spring in our own control - the power of our mind. Quantum mechanics, biology, scientific experiments and the author's own life solidify his theory. A compelling work - a MUST read!
