Overview

Pole Star by Josephine Myles

It's hard to flirt when sequins are chafing your bits…

Injured pole dancer Matt Lovell meets attractive radiographer Sal when he's in casualty for an x-ray. Trouble is, Matt's firefighter outfit is pretty convincing, and the longer he keeps up the pretence the harder it will be to reveal the naked truth: that there's nothing underneath his costume but a sequin-covered thong!

About the Author

English through and through, Josephine Myles is addicted to tea and busy cultivating a reputation for eccentricity. She writes gay erotica and romance, but finds the erotica keeps cuddling up to the romance, and the romance keeps corrupting the erotica. Jo blames her rebellious muse but he never listens to her anyway, no matter how much she threatens him with a big stick. She’s beginning to suspect he enjoys it.

Only 35 pages. Good story but too short to really get into it.

Myles has a great way of mixing romance and erotica. One can easily visualize and understand her characters. A great story!

With just about 50 pages of actual content, this book ends up being quite a waste. Two extremely stereotypical men meet, have sex, and live happily ever after. The cover should have clued me in, but darn it if I wasn't hoping for something more. Thank goodness this is a free download at least (the author spends at least 10+ pages promoting her other "works"...), ha.
