Overview

Churches today are filled with Christians who are severely lacking in devotion to the reading of God's word. Pondering God's Word was written to encourage the reader to set aside a quiet time each day devoted to reading and reflecting on the Holy Scriptures. Following the teachings of the apostle Paul to "exhort the brethren", the author relates the scriptures to past events in his own life as an example to the reader. The reader may then see how to relate his own life circumstances to biblical precepts and allow him to lead a life more pleasing to God.
