About the Author

Christina Bauer thinks that fantasy books are like bacon: they just make life better. All of which is why she writes romance novels that feature demons, dragons, wizards, witches, elves, elementals, and a bunch of random stuff that she brainstorms while riding the Boston T. Oh, and she includes lots of humor and kick-ass chicks, too. Christina lives in Newton, MA with her husband, son, and semi-insane golden retriever, Ruby. She loves to connect with her fans at BauersBooks.com.

That's all I really have to say. The whole series was amazing. I am hoping another book maybe Mayla and Lincoln have another kid... Fingers crossed.

Portia has been marked to become a VOID demon so basically every aspect of her life is pushed back to try to learn magic strong enough to fight her transformation. Then Emperor Tempest that is a dragon has offered to help Portia. Portia doesn’t know it but Tempest has been waiting a long time to be with her. Portia is also getting feelings for tempest. I liked the plot of the story in that someone finally stood for Portia but he had to be a little old but then again he was a dragon so they age different I would guess. This story was a three because to me it seems a little rushed. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would have if it was a little more drawn out I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

Second book in the Angelbound Offspring series. As the first one, Maxon, this doesn’t disappoint. Portia has a future set for herself as a void demon, and this doesn’t appeal to her yearning for a life with a family of her own. She meets Tempest and falls in love. They embark in a journey to save the Firmament and she has a chance to find herself and maybe avoid her destiny. This is a great tale of self-discovery. Note: I received a copy free from Netgalley for review purposes.
