A Regency Time Travel Romance.
American college student Ashley Wagner travels to London during Spring Break with her friend Madeline. They decide to go shopping at the Portobello Road antiques market where Ashley buys an engagement ring from the Regency period. As she is paying for the ring, a thief knocks her down and steals her handbag. Ashley hits her head as she falls and ends up with a mild concussion. She goes back to her hotel room to recover, and when she wakes up the next morning, she discovers that she has traveled 250 years in the past where she is known as Lady Sybil Harley. Sybil's life is full of complications. She is engaged to a world-weary hero from the Peninsular War, the Earl of Lonsdale. At the same time she is also being pursued by his friend the amiable Viscount Grantley and the powerful and ruthless Duke of Wellington. Which man will earn her love and will she ever return to the present?
