About the Author

Sarah Maree-Bendele Klein isn't the nerdiest nerd you've ever met, but she still likes to think of herself as a lover of science, video games, and of course, books. For much of her life, Sarah wanted to be a Marine Biologist. In her senior year of high school, she took a dual credit course in Marine Biology. The class took a trip to Costa Rica to aid in the protection and preservation of the endangered leatherback sea turtles. The experience only strengthened her desire to pursue Marine Biology as a career.

That same year, she enrolled at Indiana Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) with the intent of graduating with a degree in Marine Biology. When the chemistry courses killed that dream, she did some tough soul searching and realized her passion for writing. During her pursuit of an English degree, Sarah took a bookbinding class and quickly fell in love with the art of crafting books. It paired well with her love of writing, and in 2014, she created an Etsy shop to sell her handmade books.

She graduated in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in English, and later that year, she married her first and only love, Nicholas Klein. Combining her love of writing with his video and photography skills, they went into business together. When a severe case of writer's block struck, Sarah began contacting different writers she knew and formed a writing group in 2015. What started out as three members eventually became a larger group of writing friends. Nowadays, Sarah works from home as a social media manager. In her free time, she continues writing and publishing her work on her blog Caffeine is my Muse and crafting books with paper, fabric, and leather.
