The third book in the Club X Series, a hot new erotic contemporary romance series by New York Times bestselling author K.M. Scott.

Kane Jackson, the ruler of the fantasy section of Club X, has always been different from his brothers. The bastard son of Cassian March III, he grew up without the money and privilege Cassian and Stefan enjoyed from the March name, instead only knowing his father as the man who abandoned him and seeing himself as unloved and unwanted. He let love in once and like everything else in his life, all that came from it was pain. His heart hidden behind the walls he's built since then, Kane is now just the dark figure who rules over the fantasies of others but has none himself.

Abbi Linde can't seem to get a break. Too many bad men and bad choices have left her bruised and broken, but the opportunity to dance at Club X could change everything. For the first time, she might be able to make a life for herself and find the happiness she longs for. After what feels like a lifetime of heartbreak, Abbi still believes one day her dreams will come true and she'll find the love that's eluded her.

Even the darkest heart craves the light, but will the darkness be too much for love to overcome with these two souls?

I have sat here for a while (The day the book released) and tried to decided if i wanted to leave a review like i do with every book. This one was hard to do. Let me start of by first saying I DID love K.M Scotts books until i got a Private message on Facebook from the Author chewing me out for something i did not do. I like a lot of people said they were disappointed in Kane. I was disappointed in him for being a pig head man. The end of the book i wanted to smack him upside the head and say hello. Wake up dummy. That was all. (Me personally i think thats a good thing when a reader gets into a book like that) Didn't mean i hated the book or anything. But still got chewed out and told "I assume you'll give your opinion just as negatively in a review" So because of that i let it be and did not write a review till today. Since then i have read the book again and i don't know if its because of what the Author did has totally turned me off of her books and made the book sour for me. Where before i did enjoy the book for the most part. I looked forward to reading this book because i loved Kane. I loved Kane in the other books and yes i felt like he was a broken man but seemed so much stronger in the other books. Yes maybe this was a front, but the 2nd go around with him i felt like he was just whining through the whole book and repeating it over and over. Abbi was even worse. She was abused by her ex but immediately jumps in bed with Kane. But tells him how scared she is of him. Then not scared of him because he would "Kill for her" Then scared of him again. Then we see that the end is not the end and there will be another book. I was ok with that till all of this has happened. I personally won't be buying it or any more books from this Author. I have talked to my friends and also friends who are authors and talking to them and showing them the message we have all agreed. You don't do that to a fans and readers of your work. You take the good, bad and the ugly when you're a author. Not everyone is going to like your work but you NEVER go after your reader like was done for something you took the wrong way. For this reason i am rating the book only two stars now after reading it again and thinking about what has happened. Where before my review would have been WAY different.

With this book, K. M. Scott has solidified her position as one of my favorite authors!  I'm a new reader of her books and started with the Club X series.  While I loved book 1 & 2, this book blew me away!  It's not your typical HEA ending but I wasn't disappointed in that because I thought it was the perfect ending to a book about two characters who have been through so much in their lives.  Kane and Abbi are like two normal people who bring a lot of baggage to their relationship.  Through K.M.'s writing, I really came to understand these two and appreciate them even though I cannot personally relate to the issues they have been through.  I cannot wait until the next book in the series to catch up with all the brothers!

WOW!! K. M. Scott did not disappoint.  Possession was more than I expected.  Loved the first 2 books, but absolutely loved Kane's story the best.   The end surprised me but come to think of  it now I have another story to look forward to.  I am a HUGE fan of K.M. Scott her writing is fresh, funny, and sexy as hell.  Great job K. M.

Possesion is a great book. Kane and Abbie's story was really good, looking forward to the next book to find out want happens to all the men and women of Club X.

I relly enjoyed the first two books in this series, and had high hopes for Kane's story. While I liked Kane's character, Abbie was weak and fell in love with Kane practically 2 days after her previous boyfriend beat her up. Really wish authors would not publish a book unless it is complete. Tired of paying for incomplete books.

I am not one to ever leave a book unfinished reguardless of how bad it is. That being said, I really was looking forward to Kanes story. I am more then half way through and don't know if I'll make it to the end. The charactors are written poorly. Both very immature and impulsive in thier actions. The way Kane was set up in the previous books, I expected him to be a strong Alpha male, but instead he is whiny and depressing and I can't find anything endearing about him. Abbi is just as whiny and sad, without any backbone. As I read I shake my head and roll my eyes. I can't believe the storyline or these two charactors in anyway. I am all for big strong silent men rescuing the heroine, but these two are just not doing it for me. Very disappointing.

Disappointed with the ending. Seems as if the author wasn't quite sure what to do with the characters towards to end. Too much back and forth.

Since the first book in The Club X series came out, I knew that Kane was different. Not the fact that his last name is different from Cash and Stefan, not the fact that he was raised by a different mother, and certainly not the fact that he is over the "fantasy" side of the club. What made Kane different from his half brothers, is that he has a dark side, a side that he doesn't share with his family, a side that he himself fights to control. Most of Kane's demons come from his mother, she seemed to be angry at the world, and in turn tried to make Kane the same way. I understand why Kane is like he is, and what would make him do the things he did. When he meets Abbi, he knows that he should stay away from her but he just can't. Abbi, has a very vulnerable side to her, that men take advantage of, and she can't seem to catch a break. She thinks that all men treat women like punching bags, until Kane. Abbi learns to trust and love Kane, and there is no doubt that Kane loves her. And the reader gets a glimpse of a soft, kind, and loving Kane!  I loved this book, and just as I knew from the beginning, Kane's story would be my favorite. After I finished reading this book, it is still my favorite. Kane can't seem to shake his demons, and therefore he does what he knows he has to, in order to keep Abbi safe. I am not going to go into any of the details of this story because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. I will say that K.M. Scott, pulled me in from the beginning with this handsome, sexy, quiet, and domineering man, and although his story is painful to read at times, the ending actually fits him perfectly. If you have ever read any of K.M. Scott's books, you will not want to miss this one. You can't help but love the new side of Stefan, and there is no way that you won't love Kane. Although the ending may not have been what we wanted, at least Kane stayed true to himself. Thank you for such an amazing read K.M. Scott, looking forward to a lot more!!

Abbi and Kane's story to continue:  4 stars--POSSESSION is the third installment in KM Scott’s contemporary, adult Club X erotic romance series focusing on three brothers-Cassian and Stefan March and their half brother Kane Jackson. POSSESSION is Kane and Abbi’s storyline-a tale of insta love, heartbreak and loss.  NOTE:  This is not the end; their story is not complete; their relationship and emotional fall out are unresolved. Told from alternating first person points of view (Kane and Abbi) POSSESSION follows Abbi and Kane’s relationship as well as Kane’s spiral out of control. Abbi’s desperate need for employment finds her working at Club X-a gentlemen’s club that crosses the line of legality and one where Abbi will find comfort with a man few believed had a heart or a soul. Kane will become Abbi’s boss, her protector and her lover. Kane is a man ‘possessed’ by the monsters that haunt his life. Raised by a mother with demons of her own, Kane’s staggering childhood and destructive second nature become a self-fulfilling prophecy-over and over again. Alone for so long, Kane’s all encompassing need to protect Abbi finds our couple facing a dark future. The relationship between Kane and Abbi is very quick to develop; a romance of insta lust that finds our couple professing their love for one another within days. Their attraction to one another is fueled by Kane and Abbi’s painful pasts, their heartbreaking stories and an intense need to feel wanted and loved. Kane’s cold façade is but a mask to protect him from pain but with Abbi he is a man determined to prove that he can be caring when he wants but all good things will eventually come to an end. Kane’s darker side has been unleashed and his fear is that he will hurt everyone that he loves; Kane will risk everything to protect Abbi from harm.  There is plenty of back and forth; push and pull; and emotionally draining drama. Kane and Abbi’s co-dependency is unhealthy. The secondary characters include Kane’s half brothers-Cassian and Stefan March, and their significant others –as well as an assortment of Club X extras. We are introduced to Cassian and Stefan’s mother Alexandria; Club X bouncer Samson: Abbi’s best friend Gemma; as well as the requisite evil that sets the tone for our hero’s demise. KM Scott pulls the reader into a dark, emotional storyline about two broken people who believe they are not worthy of friendship and love.  Their backstories are heartbreaking; their futures unknown; and the author cautiously sets up an intense showdown of anguish and loss.  There is no happily ever after or even a happily ever after for now. Abbi and Kane’s story is not finished. The demons must be excised; forgiveness accepted; and the heart must realize where it belongs-it is the mind that has issues of letting go. Abbi and Kane need closure; the reader needs confirmation that our couple will find happiness and love either with each other or someone else-we all need ‘Satisfaction’.

I loved Kane's story and I for one liked the ending. I am so excited to get more about the brothers because I so wasn't ready to read the end of them. I really loved how K.M. Scott portrayed Kane and Abbi's characters. At first I wasn't sure I liked Abbi for Kane, I thought she was a bit too immature, but then I reminded myself she is only 22 years old. So her personality fit her age to a tee. I loved how they both kept making mistakes and how their characters weren't perfect. I think all of this made them more real to me. It made me fall in love with both and ache for them both when things just didn't go their way. I do think that both Abbi and Kane need to learn from their mistakes and learn to accept themselves before they can be good for each other. They need to love themselves. I just wanted to say that K.M. Scott did an amazing job with this series so far and I can't wait to read more.

I loved the first two books in this series and anxiously awaited the release of book number three, but I was highly disappointed with the ending. I was left with a feeling that the book was incomplete. I feel like this book was not worth the money spent!

I loved the first 2 books and while I really enjoyed this book, I was disappointed in the ending. I wish there wasn't such a long time in between books is this series. I don't want to wait to see what happens next!!

I hate not giving K.M. Scott 5 stars but Kane's story was not what I thought. Here we have this big quiet protector, secrets of his own and withdrawn. Abbi is abused and in need of someone to protect her and she meets Kane. All of a sudden Kane become this mushy dude that wants to take care of her. From there he lost me. He went into being someone that was a puddle and I just thought he would be the alpha but it seems neither can decide whose in charge. I can't wait for Satisfaction..too much of a cliffhanger and I need Kane to have a happily ever after. Even though his story didn't catch me I still read it in one sitting! That's how great K.M. Scott is!

I was really excited to read more about Kane. He was my favorite brother. However I felt the storyline was weak and the writing just as weak. I totally get why it ended the way it did, though. But I really struggled to get there. I found myself skipping pages because the dialogue between Kane and Abbi really was awful. Having said that, I really like getting to know why Kane was the way he was and I really enjoyed the relationship that developed between him and his brothers. But I really cannot recommend this book to others.
