Potts Mountain Memoirs: Series Volume 1 and Volume 2 by Cheryl L. Bradley

From the Best Selling Author of:
"Haden: The Littlest Bear", "Heather's Pets" and "Good Morning Sun Shine" comes the series "Potts Mountain Memoirs".

Volume 1, "Story of a Marriage", revisits the romance and courtship that resulted in forty-six year old Cheryl Rose marrying sixty-eight year old Jimmy Bradley. Their new life, on the north side of Potts Mountain - in the small community of Paint Bank, Virginia - becomes more challenging than this couple could ever have imagined. Hard work, lots of love, true commitment, and faith in God make this marriage work despite meddlesome busybodies. The grace of God, his enduring mercy and his faithfulness in answering prayer make this a timeless love story.

Volume 2, "Reminiscing", is a compilation of stories eagerly shared by a beloved husband to his wife. Gathered and gleaned, by his bride, over the course of many years with hope of preserving some of his history for generations to come. His unique stories are based on "simpler time's" growing up on Potts Mountain, in Paint Bank, Virginia.

From the Author:
Too much is lost over time. Too many valuable stories about faith, family, friends and personal experiences, forgotten. This was an effort of "love"; "our story" and the stories my beloved, and dearly loved, husband shared with me over the course of many years. Hopefully, cherished for future generations and my beloved remembered as the great "Mountain Man" he was and Paint Bank remembered as a place conceived of, and especially favored by God; "God's country".
