About the Author

Robert Fripp won a choral scholarship to Salisbury Cathedral School just when that cathedral's choir became an unwitting model for the novel "Lord of the Flies" (1956). He was eight. Later, those gothic-tinged years of Latin and plainsong helped Robert "channel" an astonishing life into his book, "Power of a Woman. Memoirs of a turbulent life: Eleanor of Aquitaine."

Fripp studied natural sciences at Canford School and the University of Bristol. Marrying Carol Burtin in New York, they settled in Toronto. Fripp produced and directed television for CBC-TV, and consulted on science and wildlife films for Japan's national network, NHK. In the 1990s, he created and edited "IBM Visions: the magazine of high performance computing." He writes copy for companies working in science and technology.

Coming, titles about roles for the spirit in healing, and a story collection. http://RobertFripp.ca/ describes other titles, and more.
