Guitar wizard Tab Benoit blends Louisiana bayou blues, funk, country, and even zydeco to create his unique version of the blues. He does an incredible cover of Steven Stills's "For What It's Worth" on this album which is one of his best. Like blues masters Walter Trout and Joe Bonamassa, he gets little recognition or radio play, but his talent as a songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist are enormous. Highlights include "Nice and Warm" and "Good To Ya Baby", but like all of his albums, all the songs are well written and perfectly arranged. Unlike some blues masters, his voice is soulful and pure, with a gritty quality that lends itself perfectly to his personal style of the blues.
