I was fourteen when i purchaced an original copy of this publication. it inspired me to master its art.it translates well enough to modern practice with the exception of lacking specific quantities, measurements. this is more than a guide, it is a historical manuscript that predates the terms'bourbon' or 'kentucky style whiskey' the oldest published recipies thereof can be found here. published fifteen years after the whiskey rebellion and still as useful today as it was two hundred years ago. excellent for beginners or historians...i should know.
Wasnt the read that I was looking for. In earlier type language maybe i misunderstood the preview. Can be technical in a different lsnguage almost.
