Each of us has the potential to unlock a deeper connection to the universe. Through existing in the divine moment, we can get rid of negativity and move beyond thoughts, egos, and emotions. By existing and focusing on the awareness that comes with being in the now, we can also feel strong positive emotions such as love, forgiveness, and joy. In Practicing the Power of Present Moment, Sanjeev Kumar uses science and experience to share tips and tricks for staying in the moment. I was pulled into this book hook, line, and sinker. His advice was well written and engaging. The layout was easy to follow and the font worked well with my dyslexia. His tips and tricks gave hope and the usable information I needed to better practice mindfulness as well as overcome obstacles. His message is universal, yet mind-opening. His efinitions and descriptions of mindfulness, awareness, and what it feels like to be fully aware of the now are spot on. This book is ideal for beginners as well as those who have practicing mindfulness for years. I’ve noticed since implementing some of his tips and tricks for practicing mindfulness, I noticed that I have a much easier time staying in the “divine moment,” and worrying less about the future. Overall, I’d give this book 5 stars. This is a truly great addition to the any Newager’s collection, this is a must read for anyone who seeks to improve their connection with the universe.
