Precarious (Jokers' Wrath MC) by Bella Jewel

From USA TODAY Bestselling Author Bella Jewel

"You need to decide, baby, because if you come in here again and give me what you just gave me, I'm not going to be able to take you back."

In darkness, we find danger. In danger, I find Beau.

Ash is a prison guard, she's tough, she's strong and she never backs away from a fight. She takes her job seriously, she takes her training seriously, and everything in her life goes as planned.

Until the day he is brought into the prison.

She'll never forget meeting Beau 'Krypt' Dawson for the first time. He's a member of the Jokers Wrath MC and it is said he killed an innocent family in the middle of a cafe, in cold blood.

Deranged. Crazy. Psychotic.

All those words describe the infamous Krypt, but Ash suspects there's far more to the quiet man than meets the eye. Secrets are being hidden by the club, information is being kept under wraps. Krypt is silent for a reason.

Ash is desperate to know that reason.

Continually fighting, Krypt is transferred to a high security prison. Ash is in charge. She's always prepared, always alert. Not even her skills will stop the club from ambushing them and taking back Krypt. Only Ash ends up right in the middle of it.

They take her, too.

Now she's stuck with a Motorcycle Club who are tougher than any prisoner she's ever laid eyes on. And they won't let her go. She's too much of a risk. Until the situation can be sorted, they send her and Krypt into the mountains together....alone.

An epic, dangerous love will be built on the foundations of darkness.

Love all of Bella Jewel's books.  They're not easy to read because the characters are sometimes not likable but the stories are great.  Can't wait for more...

You know that feeling when you've been on holiday and you get home, your like "sigh- home sweet home" Well reading A Bella Jewel book is like that. You know your in for a fantastic read. You have to plan reading it like a military operation.  Plan the time your going to read it carefully. NO INTERRUPTIONS Plan where your going to read it. Some where with a lock You will be in there a while. Supplies are needed.  Ash works in a prison. She loves her job, she's good at it. She likes her colleagues. She's respected.  Beau is in a MC and Girls he's as hot as they come.     Ash is asked to transport Beau to a different Prison. Something she doesn't do. One the way they are ambushed. Along the way Ash learns some truths she finds hard to believe.  Bella has done it again. Another Fantastic book. As I said reading a Bella Jewel book is like coming home. Or getting on the back of a bike, you know your in for a ride so you better hold on.  I LOVED this book. Everything was perfect. I loved the characters, especially Beau, did I mention he's hot.  I loved the setting and plot of the book. Also girls, this book has some PRETTY hot scenes. Everything you want and expect from a Bella Jewel book is in Precarious.  Bella, you have out done yourself again. This book is exceptionally written. The plot and characters are well thought out. The style that Bella writes in as your reading it plays out in your head vividly like a movie. In fact if there is an author whose books I would like to see on TV or film it would be Bella.  I give this book 5/5 stars and 5/5 for movie moments.

I started not to read this book because the whole prison guard thing made me think it was going to be all about the prison and far fetched. That's not the case at all. I loved this book and can't wait to read more in this series. It is a great start to a new series and well worth the read.

Alpha bikers. Ash has a brain and tells them off. Romance, and steamy scenes with a good story plot.

I had read Precarious a few years back, and since I read so many books, I honestly forgot, so when I was going through my audio upgrades eligible titles, I grabbed it, not realizing it was a title I’ve already read.  No matter, I really enjoyed the audible.  Stella Bloom did a tremendous job with the characters. I did think it was rather odd to have Charles Lawrence voice the chapters narrated in a male POV, considering there were so few of them, not that Charles didn’t do a great job, it was just a bit weird.  You have Stella doing all the voices, and then more than halfway through the book, here comes Charles to do a very short chapter.  I think he only voiced four or five chapters; again his performance was fine, I just found it odd.  I think Stella could have narrated the entire book, and nothing would have been lost.  To be honest, I would have liked to see Stella take all the female voices, and Charles take all the male voices, so far that is my favorite format when we have a male and a female narrator.   Precarious is an incredibly erotic tale that will have you flushed all over, and ready to tackle your significant other. Be prepared and keep your honey close!  There are a few scenes that I bookmarked, so I can play again and again. This isn’t your average erotic tale, there is danger, dirty guards, a prison break, kidnapping, and a hostage that isn’t always there against her will. I give Precarious 4 Boundless stars; I really enjoyed it, and I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series, Melancholy....Sara

Wasnt crazy about this book. I didnt care for Ash. She really was his whore especially once Penny came into the picture. Seemed like their whole relationship was based on sex. I didnt feel any emotional connection between Ash and Krypt. Imnot a prude but I didnt care for the sex scene with them and maddox. Maybe if it would have happened in the beginning but not towards the end. I just thought it made her seem skanky and him whoring his woman out. Im going to give the next book a shot, hopefully Ill like it better.

Pretty good book. Decent storyline although I wish it could have been longer. Could have done more with it. Decent sex scenes. I liked the characters and I will read the next to see if it gets better. It felt like it might or the author just ran out of creativity with this one. Fingers crossed it gets better. Less than 200 pgs. s.
