The book seems to be mainly aimed at people who are very overweight and might be somewhat useful for them. Very rambling. He says lose weight and exercise in a million words or more, which may be true but repeating the same thing over and over is pretty boring.

Dr. Rubin wrote a very easy to understand and simple to follow book about everything having to do with prediabetes; including how one gets the diagnosis, how to prevent diabetes, as well as exercise, food, and weight loss guidelines. This book is very straightforward and helps one to plan making life altering changes. There's no shame and blame. Knowledge is power - and this book provides much motivation for improving your own health for life.
