I have enjoyed the reading of this exquisite book because it is an amazing investigation of the causes that led to the biggest financial crisis with analytical insights. It is a must for anyone who holds a position of trust. This book also fits an incredible number of puzzle pieces of crisis analysis right into a comprehensive structure of ethics and values. I think that thanks to the author's extensive research, his own deductive reasoning, his seasoned managerial experience and personal interviews involving selected global thought leaders and industry expert, has given to the public brilliant proposals for improved financial regulation. I would recommend this book for all leaders of all ranks.

It's an amazing, unique, and revealing book! A must read. The most powerful, fact-based and independent analysis on the root causes of the 2007 - 2009 financial crisis and its aftermath. It includes also a very insightful chapter dedicated to interviews with prominent "thought leaders" on the topic of the financial crisis aiming to envision more resilient and sustainable corporate governance frameworks and financial regulations to prevent new systemic crises in the future. The suggestions provided in this book have a profound ethical content and value. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to master the important economic, financial and cultural events of our time and definitely to those who want to deal with an emerging outstanding visionary "thought leader" and a brilliant author.

Spanning the current chasm between the actual workings of world´s financial system and necessities of governance, or also between greed and its control in the absence of universally binding ethics, the author on a firm analytic foundation clearly shows what ought to be done and what actually could be done in order to make for a more stable global financial structure intended to serve as an ancillary platform for a prospering real economy instead of again and again running berserk in its own self-created world that sucks life out of systems that in fact it ought to be nourishing. The underlying appeal of this book for me primarily goes primarily to two Groups of people - first, to top leaders of all fields who will have to sharpen their awareness of systemic contexts and possible contagion. Second, it is politicians who (like in fact everybody) should give their thoughts to the issue of values. As society cannot function without a firm base of sustainable values beyond making Money, and at the current stage of evoltion this appears to be a burden that is to heavy to be shouldered by individuals in their own responsibilty, this will take them right down to issues of regulation or deregulation, concealed corruption, and ultimately thos wielding üower in whatever shape. - The author´s analysis and conclusions do deserve a lot of attention, and thinking about one´s "personal governance" as leaders in any walk of life.
