Pregnancy: A Divine Order by Angela M. Hopkins Luna MD

Pregnancy: A love story between you, your baby, and God. Pregnancy: A Divine Order walks you through the miracle of pregnancy-a journey that changes your body and your spirit. This comprehensive guide chronicles the physical changes occurring as your baby develops, week by week, from conception to delivery. It also shares how God reflects His character through your pregnancy as a testimony of His love for you. Our bodies are able to nurture, house, and give birth, but God is the one who creates life. The complexity of your pregnancy is proof we are never an afterthought but a masterpiece lovingly made by our Father in Heaven. We are fearfully and wonderfully made!

This author truly captured the medical and inspirational aspects of one of the most wonderful experiences a family could have, pregnancy. Having gone through pregnancy before, it was still enlightening to learn the spiritual connection. Dr. Hopkins-Luna presented the material in a way that anyone reading this book would understand everything very easily. If this is your first pregnancy, this is a must reading for you! I highly recommend this book for everyone, pregnant or not. THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRULY UNDERSTAND THE MIRACLE OF PREGNANCY!

A refreshing and daring perspective on pregnancy that is both intelligent and relevant. In words that educate and encourage, Dr. Hopkins-Luna seamlessly weaves together the relationship between the physical and spiritual. Readers are challenged to gain a new appreciation for not only the transforming body of a pregnant woman, but also her ever-evolving relationship with the Creator who makes it possible. The author’s heart for people shines through in a book that reads more like a personal conversation with a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. This is a must read for those who are, who plan to be, or who ever have been pregnant. One of many "quotables" in this inspiring book includes: “The complexity of your pregnancy is proof that we are never an afterthought, but a masterpiece lovingly made by our Father in Heaven."
