As previous posters have said, this isn't a complete story, as the Harlequin Presents series are, normally. I purchase these because I'm looking for a quick enjoyable escape, with a happy ending, not being left in limbo. If the cover would have said, part 1 of 2, I would have known what I was purchasing, but it didn't. Shame on you Harlequin, for misleading those of us who faithfully read this series every month.

So, here's the deal. This is only half the story. To find out how the romance resolves itself, you have to buy a second book in December, "A Stormy Greek Marriage." I'm pretty furious. So, I try to purchase a book, I can read in one night - brain candy. Instead I end up frustrated. If they told you up front you were only going to get half the book for your money, you might not buy it. Dishonest Harlequin and dishonest Ms. Grahamn.

I had really gotten into this book and it just ended. JUST ENDED. I don't know if there is a follow-up to this book. But if there isn't is book is missing the second half of the main characters' story. That's why I rated it a 2. Could have been a four or five if it had the rest of the story. Disappointing.

I am really disappointed this is a two parter. Not a happy customer Harlequin, and hope this isn't a prelude of your future books.

I had the same experience as the previous poster. I expect Harlequin/Silhouette books to have a happily resolved ending. I love Lynne Graham books and stayed up till 2:00 am on a work night to finish reading this book. I thought someone must have torn some pages out because it had an open ending. I agree that this was not very good. I hope Harlequin/Silhouettes are not going to do this on a regular basis. If I had known this up front, I would have waited until I could buy both books together to have the "complete" book(s).

I did not connect with this story. It felt disjointed and the characters were unevenly developed. I could not get past the idea that a mother could deny her child.

I do not like to come to the end of a book only to be surprised to find out that if I want to know how the story ends I have to purchase another book.
