Kind of stumbled upon the first book and became captivated by the characters. Well written series so far. Getting ready to read #3. Have suggested this series to my wife and several friends.

I cannot begin to describe how much I have enjoyed these books. I hope to be able to buy the regular books for our church library.

The Bible history and the art of great story telling make these three novels a fantastic good read. I will be sure to pass these books as a  book well worth reading to pass this on to my friends.

Anyone who thinks there is something more to the Scriptures need to understand the culture of that time. The City of God series will fill that gap. Excellent, I reccommend the author and can't wait to read more.

What a great continuation of book one in this series! The author has done a great job in researching the religions and time periods , and the character developments of both Ari and Rivka are phenomenal. I'm still rooting for Ari to be converted as a follower  of Christ.

WOW, How have I never heard of this author before? I really enjoyed this book as well as the first book for several reasons. One is that I was a math major in college and I love the logic that Ari often resorts too to understand things. Another is that as both a gentile follower of Christ and a huge supporter of Israel and the Jewish people I have rarely seen an author take on both topics of Christian anti Semitism and the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. These are topics that must be confronted and not shied away from. I really loved this book and whole heartedly recommend it as both a Christian and a math geek. I have already started reading book 3 and will post a review as soon as I finish it.

I did enjoyed this 2nd book of Rivka and Ari's adventure in 1st century Jerusalem. I appreciate the author's emphaty towards Rivka's frustration living in a world where a woman cannot walk or talk or even be heard by a man out in the streets not even by your own husband. And if a woman made a mistake, they'd say you have a familiar or someone evil possesed your body or a witch, but if you are a man that made a mistake they would just feel sorry for you. I also enjoyed the writer's sense of humor integrated throughout the book. Much more important is why love is more important than honor. And always guard your heart against anger, find a way to love your enemies.

This is the 2nd book in this series and I am astounded that I've gotten nothing else done since starting this series!!!! In the first book, Transgression, it starts in today's time. Through an experiment to see if they could transport back in time, 2 of the characters, Rivtka and Ari are transported back to 1st century Jerusalem. The author has done his research in physics and science and even in great detail to Biblical history. This second book, Premonition, continues Rivtka and Ari's journey and spiritual journey as they learn first hand from these 1st century people. From the courts of Agrippa, to the Temple Priests and all of its rituals, I have gained a new and exciting understanding of the life and times of this era and how our brothers and sisters in the faith back then lived life to death each moment, very much the same that is going on in Iraq and in the middle east now. I highly recommend this series and am looking forward to start the 3rd and last book, Redemption, today.
