About the Author
THEODORE H. M. PRUDON, PhD, FAIA, a leading expert on thepreservation of modern architecture, was educated at the Universityof Delft, Netherlands, and Columbia University where he receivedhis doctorate. He is a partner of Prudon & Partners, based inNew York City, and teaches preservation at Columbia University'sGraduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Prudonis the President of DOCOMOMO US and a board member of DOCOMOMOInternational. DOCOMOMO is dedicated to the study of significantworks of Modern Movement architecture, landscape design, and urbanplanning around the world.
