Surprisingly insightful book on self love. For those of you struggling I recommend the former Penny Lane's book as it's as warm as it is inspiring. While not as spiritual as Neale Donald Walsch's "Conversations with God" or as step-by-step as GL Lambert's "Men Don't Love Women Like You" it is none the less enjoyable.

A Bit repetitive but with some good ideas. I was a First Read Winner of this book, and overall I liked it, it certainly is visually beautiful put together. I am at a point in my life were I needed to reevaluate some health choices that I let slip over the last 4 years and I thought this book might just do the trick to get me back on track. She mentions Ayurvedic practices, which I was not very familiar with so I found that part very interesting and the book also contained some tests that might help you to figure out what needs change. But overall the message really is to be happy and listen to your body, find a work out that works for your and make better food choices. I thought that this might make a great gift for a young adult, and though it did not give me exactly what I was looking for there were some helpful tips that I will incorporate into my life.

This book is fantastic. It is beautiful, and it's very obvious that a lot of thought and time went into it. Kate Hudson has outdone herself! Visually, it's a really inspiring and fun book. It is filled with care and mindfulness. It would make a fantastic gift for any lady interested in being more mindful, healthy, and intune with herself. Highly recommended!

This book is a ray of sunshine that illuminates and enlightens. It is a breezy read that reflects the author's holistic outlook on shining as your true self and living life to the fullest. Pretty Happy is a glimmering milestone in Kate Hudson's illustrious career. I hope this is her first of many page-turners that will encourage readers to be jubilantly luminous and exuberantly joyful.
