About the Author

Amy Cecil has worked for many years as a legal assistant in various law and lobbying firms, including a few years on Capitol Hill. She is currently the office manager of a top 500 home improvement company. She is a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA) and the Romance Writers of America (RWA). She has been a Jane Austen fan for as long as she can remember. She reflects back to many days living and reliving the lives of Darcy and Elizabeth through Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice until she saw the 2005 movie production. Now she just watches the movie over and over (and over) again. She is married to her very own Mr. Darcy and lives in North Carolina with her two dogs, two cats and her horse. This is her first novel. She enjoyed writing so much and intends to write more. Look for Relentless Considerations - A Tale of Pride & Prejudice in 2013.

Excellent Reading! The story was well written and easy to follow. I enjoyed the knew twist to this P&P variation. All the characters we love in P&P were included. It was hard to see our favorite couple endure the problems but at the end everything worked out. I will not go into the story because it would ruin it for others but I will read again but I will get it for my nooki.
