Possibly my favorite of Jane Austen, this book is a classic for a reason. Full of fantastic characters, romance and suspense, this is a wonderful book for readers ages 14 and up! :)

Most of the reviews on here are just spam or childish kids taking out their anger about having to read this book. But, this is a classic and means a lot to the people who actually read it like me, so I would greatly appreciate it if people would grow up and get over themselves. This is a masterpiece and should not be so badly ranked just because of spam reviews ?

Above everything else, the dialogue shared between the characters throughout the story was spectacular. The suspense generated by Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy's relationship was captivating from beginning to end!

I must confess that my first introduction to this great story was from the movie starring Kira Knightley. Then, the BBC version with Colin Firth and now finally reading the story. How wonderful it is! The ending in particulair is more intimate by giving an account of how things turned out for all the charators you love and the ones you love to hate. I'm fully satisfied but now, after any good book, am feeling the loss of limb. Time to go rewatch all the movies/show's!

After watching the PBS series of Pride and Prejudice I had to read the book. It was a pleasure to get to know the characters, even the ever obsequious Mr. Collins, the exuberant Lydia and charmingly, self- serving Wickham. Truly a classic that reflects the airs, values and humor of the many levels of real and wannabe British high society.
