A thrilling YA paranormal romance, Pride's Run was a fantastic read. The action had me on the edge of my seat while the romance had me swooning over Logan. I really liked this lovely book. Pride was a strong character. She went through a lot as a captive of her master, but she refused to let anything break her. She was tough, determined, and I really liked her. Logan was the love interest and he was wonderful. He was very sweet and strong and determined to protect those he cared about. And, he definitely proved himself as a hero. I absolutely adored him. The romance was good. Pride and Logan were great together. Even though they were both wary of trusting, they still couldn't deny that they had feelings for each other and I thought that was very sweet. Also, the heat level was a little higher between them than in most YA books, so there was a touch of spice as well. And they were so bad ass together. Nobody stood a chance with the two of them. They were great together and I hope they manage to find a happy ending. Stone was another major character. At first, I didn't like him. He was mean and cruel and horrible. But, later in the book, we get his reasons for acting the way he did and it changed my whole perspective of him. He was actually very sweet and determined to protect those he loved. By the end of the book I really liked him. He has the potential as another love interest, so we'll see how that goes. My problem with the book, though, was that I needed more explanation. I didn't fully understand what was going on. I wasn't even sure that they were, in fact, werewolves because the descriptions were unclear and I just had to make an educated guess. But, more than that, why were werewolves being kept as slaves? For what purpose were the "masters" keeping them? I needed more explanation. It wasn't problem enough to ruin the book, but it was enough to take it down a notch. The plot was fast paced and I was hooked the entire way through. There were definitely enough thrill to keep you on the edge of your seat. I really enjoyed the story and the ending has me insanely curious to find out what happens next. Pride's Run was a fantastic YA paranormal romance. The thrills were nonstop, the romance was lovely, and the secrets revealed were surprising. I really liked this book. YA romance lovers, this is a book worth checking out. *I received a free copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review

From now on, all other shifter books I read have to live up to this book. I couldn't believe this book was free. Its incredible and despite being Supernatural, realistic. Pride's Run is now my favorite series. As cliche as this sounds, as soon as I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. This book pulled at my heart stings, good and bad, and made me gush during the romance parts. Which I am happy were not too over dramatic or cheesy. The characters are strong and all intense. If you're into Shapeshifters, this book is definitely for you.

Another Free Friday selection that has merrit. Although mature content noted on cover, it still felt like a YA story. Also felt like I picked up a story in the middle. Needed more of a beginning and an end. Maybe it's part of a series.

I really enjoyed this book. The action was fast paced and the plot was intriguing. The main characters were strong and likeable. I would have liked more details of the slaves lives. What were they used for, how did some of them become slaves ,etc. I was also confused by the ending, but maybe a sequel will clear that up. Overall , a fun book!

Pride has grown up in the compound and under the ruthless Master's reign, but she is given an opportunity to run. Will she take it? Now on the run with the mark she was supposed to bring in. She has to learn how to survive in the wild, but with the help of Logan she may. Can she trust Logan? She's learned early on not to trust anyone, but family. What about Stone will he and her Master find her before she can make a break to freedom? Very interesting characters. This book does leave you with a cliff hanger. Twists and turns as Pride fights for her life.

ARC kindly provided by author in exchange for a honest review. This was my first venture into the world of paranormal books, and my first book by this author, so I wasn't sure quite what to expect. It was definitely different from anything else I have read in the past, but I liked it, so much so, I plan to venture to this "world" again soon. The writing style was easy to fall into, and the story line was very engaging and held my interest the whole way through. You can tell that the author put a lot of thought and care into the development of the characters, which I appreciated. This one was a new adventure for me and I'm glad I decided to be brave a try something new. I highly recommend you give this book a try, you will not be disappointed!
