this is a sweet little book that brings back so many memories of watching Disney fairy movies when I was a little girl. When I was growing up there were so many comic type books that appealed to boys, but nothing much was available for little girls. This has all changed with the great new Disney Graphic Novels (some might describe this awesome little book as a super quality pocket size comic book). I highly recommend this magical book to girls of all ages. And I bet there are lots of little boys who would enjoy it too! This is a good way to get young children interested in reading.

We all love Tinker Bell and the other fairies. This graphic novel was a big hit with the girls and I've had to read it to the youngest I know about 20 times. The stories are really great for young girls and the illustrations are just as magical as Pixie Hollow.

a definate 'must read" this beautifully illustrated book has four short stories in which you are introduced to the adventures of the fairies in pixie hollow. from helping others to find their talent, discovering the secrets of flying like the wind, making new friends or deciding what true friendship is, tinker bell brings you along with her on a discorvery of a lifetime. the stories were absolutely adorable and the illistrations astonding. any child would really enjoy this book. cant wait for the noxt ones.

This was a fairly cute graphic novel geared towards pre-teens. I suppose that it would serve as a good introduction to graphic novels for that age-group or would be a fun read for fans of Disney princesses and fairies. The storylines are fairly cute while pretty simplistic, but the individual stories seem to jump around quite a bit with no real transitions or character building. I did think that the art work was all rather well done. All in all, not a bad book for preteens but I would have liked to have seen a better effort made at character development and having a more cohesive storyline.

Reason for Reading: Book #2 is a Cybils '10 nominee and as a panelist for Graphic Novels this is required reading for me. So I decided to go back and read #1 as well to get a feel for this series.I'm not a Disney fan so was not looking forward to reading this book but was pleasantly surprised. A collection of short stories about the fairies in Neverland, each one features a different fairy as the main character but Tinker Bell is in them all and the various fairies mostly turn up in every story as well. The stories are actually quite well-written and engaging. If I was a little girl I would certainly be entertained by these 4 stories which introduce five fairies in particular, though others are featured as well. The only problem is that the books are small, meaning the print is very tiny but otherwise the whole collection is cute and fun.

Combining the beautiful artwork from the creators of our childhood favorites with magical stories sure to delight readers of any age, this is one graphic novel to take a chance on indeed. Join Tinkerbell, Prilla and all their friends as they test the bonds of friendship, help each other discover their inner fairy, go head to head in a little fairy competition and even discover the first blush of love...all in Disney-esque fun. So clap your hands and join the other "believers" as you take pause to welcome this new addition to the timeless family. Happy reading!
