Overview

Gavin:
Ellie Montague is smart, sensitive, and so gorgeous it hurts to look at her. She’s also an intern in my office. The office of the Prime Minister of Canada.*
That’s me. The PM.
She calls me that because when she calls me Sir, I get hard and she gets flustered, and as long as she’s my intern, I can’t twist my hands in her strawberry-blonde hair and show her what else I’d like her to do with that pretty pink mouth.**

Ellie:
How much I like the PM varies on a daily basis. He’s intense, controlling, and a perfectionist in every way—and he demands the same of his staff.
How much I want him never wavers.
There’s something about him that tugs at me deep inside, and makes me wish that just once he’d cross the line in a late night work session. I’d take that secret to the grave if it meant I got a taste of the barely restrained beast inside him.***

FOOTNOTES:

* This is a fictional erotic romance. No prime ministers or interns were harmed in the making of this book.
** Except it’s a BDSM romance, so they were hurt a little.
*** Spoiler alert: she gets more than a taste. And she likes it.

Very cute book. Just the right amount of sass, naughtiness and love between Gavin and Ellie.

O. M. G. Hottest book ever. Seriously. Like cocaine. I was so addicted I could barely stop reading to deal with real life. I have read Ainsley Booth before, but Sadie Haller is new to me. I'm always so impressed when authors collaborate on a story and pull it off in such a seamless fashion. These two ladies did a great job writing Prime Minister. Prime Minister is about Gavin and Ellie. Gavin is Canada's new Prime Minister. He's 39 years old, handsome, smart and sexy and all women and gay men alike have a crush on him. He's trying to put together the pieces of a broken government and he is good for the people. One thing most of the people of Canada don't know about their new leader... he's kinky. He's into dominance and submission, pushing women's boundaries and delivering pleasure. Yeah. He's pretty perfect. But this does pose a problem for Gavin. He's separated that part of his life since he's become prime minister. You can't exactly go to a sex club when you're the prime minister. So he has gone without satisfying that part of himself. And it hasn't really been a problem.... until he meets Ellie. Ellie accepted an internship working with the Prime Minister's chief of staff. She's smart, academic and like the rest of the female population, she has a massive crush on the prime minister. Or PM. She thinks she feels a connection to him, but you can't exactly hit on the prime minister when you're working as an intern in his office. Or can you? What I loved about this book: ~ The writing. Ainsley Booth and Sadie Haller sunk their claws into me with this deliciously sexy, forbidden, kinky story that turned into such a sweet romance. I couldn't think about anything else while reading the story. Food - who needs to eat? We have a sitter and date night planned - do we have to go out? Sleep - silly bodily function. This story CONSUMED me. ~ Gavin. Man what an awesome hero. He's the ruler of a country. Powerful, intelligent, confidant. But he's also human too. And that human side of him likes things kinky in the bedroom. I loved how attentive he was to Ellie. I loved how perverted he was, too!! ~ Ellie. Loved her POV. Just a regular woman, excited with the opportunity to work in the prime minister's office. But she's human too. And her body can't help but respond to Gavin when they're in close proximity. ~ The magnetism. These two try to fight it. It's scandal worthy and the last thing either of them wants is a scandal. But they just can't stay away from each other. That pull. I love it when they finally decide to just give in already. The chemistry is off the charts. I don't know if I can find the words to describe how hot these two are together. ~ Forbidden. When they start up they keep it a secret. Nothing gets my blood boiling like a forbidden romance. The sneaking around, the frantic need, the absolute desperation to touch each other. Hot. It's so unbelievably hot. HOT. ~ The sweet. Yes, Gavin is intense and powerful and dominant. But he falls for Ellie and he's so sweet, too. Sigh. I love it when he becomes vulnerable to Ellie. I'm an absolute sucker for a strong man that becomes vulnerable to a woman. What I didn't like: not one thing. This book was absolute perfection. PERFECTION. This is why I like to read. Bottom line: READ THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW. Drop everything!!! One Click. I'm so excited to learn that there will be more to come in this series. And I will drop everything to read about Max, Lachlan and Tate. BRING IT

Gavin and Ellie are great. He is the new PM and has a dirty side that the public doesn’t know about. Ellie gets to intern for the sexy new PM who she has a crush on. Ellie can’t help but say “yes Sir” to Gavin a lot. Gavin can’t help but be very, very distracted by Ellie. Sparks fly in the office and things heat up quickly are they both strong enough to whether the storm.

Gavin is the new Prime Minister of Canada. He's in his forties, ran a political campaign that he didn't actually expect would lead him to be elected and he's now in the driver's seat. He's a conscientious, fair minded, demanding and focussed man - who just happens to be a Dom in his private life. Consider the challenges of leading a country while trying to indulge in your sexual appetites without scandalizing a country and you've got an inkling as to some of his frustration. Enter Ellie. As a twenty five year old intern with a scholarship to work for the PMO (Prime Minister's Office) for the summer, she's got a crush on Gavin, just like every other able bodied woman in the country. When Gavin turns his piercing eyes on her, she's determined to be professional, and ignore the sizzling reaction of her other body parts. But when she sees the heat in his eyes at certain innuendos in their private conversations she decides to take a chance and offer him a little action on the side. What starts out as a sexy affair between them soon becomes something more - a real relationship. But can they transition from behind the scenes to out in the Canadian public without ruining either of their reputations? What I really enjoyed about this story is that while it's a forbidden love affair (She's an intern! He's the Prime Minister!), at no time is there any sense that Gavin is coercing Ellie from a position of power. In fact it's quite the opposite. Ellie makes her interest known, and he's reluctant to take what's on offer, concerned more about her reputation than his own, if the story came out. Once they start seeing each other, and their relationship intensifies, they find a way to make the situation palatable to the public should it become known. I liked that Gavin was concerned about Ellie and her reputation, and willing to take all responsibility for their affair. Ellie is a smart, funny, and naive woman, but willing to try new things. With Gavin, an experienced Dom, she gets her wish. There are some super sexy scenes between them, where Gavin teaches Ellie the ways of a submissive, and they try new to her experiences. There is a threeway scene, some light bondage and spanking ,and general shenanigans, but nothing too hard core. Suffice it to say, it's still eye opening for Ellie and she and Gavin make for a very compelling couple. I appreciated the care taken in these scenes - they come across as realistic in a BDSM relationship with limits and safe words and aftercare, all important aspects that are not always addressed properly in other romances. Everything that happens between them is fully consensual. Ellie's age comes through sometimes, in her relationship with her parents and her roommate, but just because she's young doesn't mean she can't hold her own in a relationship. She cares for Gavin, and she's willing to stand up for him and for herself. While the story idea and the title of the series, Frisky Beavers, implies a combination of sexy and fun, the writing style of the two authors in engaging and flows seamlessly - I couldn't tell who wrote which parts (and I've read them both independently). The story is told from dual points of view, in first person, so we get the story from Ellie and from Gavin in their own words, with their thoughts. If you're looking for some heat and a fun romance with some timely politics, this series is for you. 4.5 stars.

Absolutely brilliant! Addictive, enthralling, and supremely well-written, Prime Minister is a unique and intense love story with strong characters and an excellent story-line. The main characters have a chemistry that leaps off the page. You can feel the sexual tension between them in the beginning and you can't wait to see if anything will come of it. If you want a book to get lost in and keeps you glue to the pages, this is the book for you. I received a courtesy copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Sometimes something is just totally perfect. Nothing to criticize, everything to feel warm and happy and glowy about inside. You smile and laugh and sigh and swoon. It doesn’t happen very often. This book is that rare beast. It is perfect. At least for me. It isn’t non-stop sex with no plot. If that’s your idea of a great book, you probably won’t love this. It doesn’t have lots of phrases with more adjectives than ideas. This is a smart book first, a sexy love story built around smart people who are likeable. As I said, to me it is perfect. I’m not Canadian, but I have visited many times and have my presidential election strategy ready (moving to Vancouver) just in case…I loved the inside look at Canadian politics. So, in addition to a bit of education, the attraction between Ellie and Gavin is perfectly perfect…swoony, hot, a bit illicit, a lot of feels, just enough dirty to satisfy. Can’t wait for the next installment.

Wowza! This book is amazingly hot, and while Gavin is no Cole(what can I say I just love that man) he can definitely hold his own in the world of hot alpha men. This book was entertaining throughout and didn't take me long at all to get hooked into and furiously keep flipping pages to see what would happen next. Ellie is an awesome female lead and fits Gavin amazingly well. The scenes between the two will set your reading device of choice on fire and you'll be fanning yourself to cool down. Ainsley and Sadie did an amazing collaboration with this story and I am anxiously awaiting Max's book as he intrigued me from the start. This book was a complimentary e-copy provided by the author in exchange for a honest review.

PRIME MINISTER-{FRISKY BEAVERS BOOK 1} INTRIGUING - BREATHTAKING & ROMANCE THAT SIZZLES The story focuses on GAVIN STRONG who is traffic stopping gorgeous, has mesmerizing blue eyes, is the Prime Minister of Canada, a much sought after bachelor, and has dark desires; ELLIE MONTAGUE is sexy, intelligent, audacious, and doing a three-month internship working in the PM’s office. What you'll find in this story; a full cast of remarkable and engaging characters, spectacular storyline, picturesque and powerful vivid scene descriptions, phenomenal banter, heart-rending moments, action, gripping suspense, camaraderie, earth shattering mind-blowing heart-throbbing sensual romance, and an absolutely fantastic conclusion leaving you wanting more. Gavin is brilliant and a powerful well-educated leader of Canada but when Ellie enters his life he is consumed by his desires, fantasies and wanting her completely. Finding it hard to cope with his desires Gavin calls his best friend Max who he trusts to keep his secrets for much-needed advice. Ellie, of course, is crushing on Gavin but also proves to be an outstanding asset to the PM’s office with her sharp wit. As true romantic feelings begin to flourish between them a horrific invasion of privacy threatens to rip them apart. Gavin is outraged and hopes with every beat of his heart he does not lose the one woman who totally completes him..... WOW/INCREDIBLE fast paced exhilarating read by two truly gifted authors. Gavin and Ellie blend well together and yes their romance if filled with fiery passion and desires that are more than conventional but there is more to this story that makes it quite impressive; a fascinating read and I relished it. The cast of characters are praise-worthy and come alive with a plot that keeps you intrigued with superb dialogue, breathtaking scene descriptions, emotional tension, and some unexpected drama. I loved Ellie, she was bold, mature, and knew exactly how to challenge the PM. Gavin is more than special. I eagerly await Max’s story. If you treasure fantasy romances this is definitely a must-have for your library. {I was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review}. In the world of fantasy romance, the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations, I recommend this book.

A Review of Prime Minister by Ainsley Booth & Sadie Haller Taking on a Prime Minister - 5++ stars I have to admit, the trailer that I saw regarding this book is what really drew me in. I absolutely loved it and could not wait to buy the book. I also enjoyed getting to learn a little bit about how differently Canada is run from the US. Gavin is one of those guys that you would love to be around, just to gaze upon his perfection (although he would be the first to tell you he is not perfect). He ran for the position of Prime Minister, without really thinking he would get it, but now that he has the position, he wants to turn his country around and give all Canadians a better life. Ellie just happens to be an intern for the summer while she waits for school to start back up in the fall so she can finish her degree. Being in her mid twenties, and following Women's Studies, she is there to be the voice of the everyday woman. Like the majority of women in the country, she has a crush on the PM, but never thinks it could or would go anywhere. Something pulls the two of them together, regardless of how risky it is. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the characters in this book and I am looking forward to the next book in the series, to see what Max's story is all about. We get a taste of it at the end of this book, but I want MORE! And then, there is Lachlan's book to come after that! We've seen a good deal of him in this book, but there is soooooo much more to him that will be so fun to discover. And can we just look at the covers for these three books??? Hot, hot, HOT!! **Honest review voluntarily provided for purchased product.**

Sexy and uniquely entertaining I won’t rehash the story, but you get the gist: doctoral candidate working as an intern for the new Prime Minister of Canada. Throw in a spark of interest and gradual buildup of sexual tension, a dash of kinkiness and dirty talking PM and this wonderful gem of a story is wildly entertaining. It’s Ellie Montague and Gavin Strong’s story, and their trying to keep a secret romance under wraps from the probing tabloid papers and public scrutiny is almost impossible. And when Gavin’s past comes to haunt him, it’s a crushing shock to both Ellie and his position. Prime Minister is a well-written erotic romance which made for a delightful and satisfying read. It’s a winning collaboration of Ainsley Booth and Sadie Haller, and I just loved the scintillating dialogue, characterization , and perfect pacing of a fun bad boy romance. I couldn’t put it down once I started. It’s hot, sexy, light kinkiness, a wonderful blend of story, romance with endearing characters. I’m looking forward to the next book in the Frisky Beavers series, Doctor Bad Boy. This is Max’s story and I am sure it’s going to be awesome.

Ellie Montague has come to the Prime Minister’s office to intern for the summer. Gavin Strong, Canada’s new Prime Minister has the country all aflutter: 39, handsome, and single. But Gavin is soon very much distracted by his lovely 25 year-old intern. Ellie is too young, and Gavin knows only too well that you can’t mingle too closely, ahem, with your staff when you’re in office. He will resist, he must resist. Gavin is also a very kinky PM, which must remain hidden at all costs, or his job will be toast, even if it’s Canada, eh? However, Ellie is more than starstruck, but she lets the PM subtly know that she’s interested in what he might be offering… The concept for PRIME MINISTER is so daring and bold, that I couldn’t resist, especially being a Canuck myself, I couldn’t wait to see what the authors would do with the premise. A young, handsome, and randy government head of state! I must admit I thought it would be a light read, without much depth, and obviously focused on sex. Well, was I ever wrong! First of all, the writing simply blew me away! Flowing, witty, and so seamless, you’d never fathom there are two authors involved! The prose is simply spectacular, the dialogues witty and brilliant, and I love that PRIME MINISTER remains at all times 100% Canadian. As is pointed out in the foreword, the political elements were streamlined so as not to bog down the narrative and enable the kinky romance to star, and still the political atmosphere felt genuine at all times. Never did we lose sight of who the hero was and what he did for a living. I honestly felt the story could happen in real life – hey, it’s Canada! Another thing that awed me is the romance itself. Obviously, there is quite a bit of sex, given the randy PM, but the romance is absolutely beautiful and heartfelt, convincing every step of the way. I have seldom experience such a genuine connection between two characters, and I’m not talking about the sex, but about caring and sharing. Their actions spoke for themselves, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how tender the love story was. I had feared a bungled, easy ending, and especially when a threat arises, but far from it, it reinforced everything that had happened before, whether from a romantic or political point of view. I’m thrilled that the authors took the chance of writing this very intelligent and different sort of book. PRIME MINISTER works on all accounts; I had expected erotica with over the top elements, and it is definitely not the case. PRIME MINISTER is a lovely romance with some kinky stuff, and the fantastic ending points to the next book in the series as being just as awesome! Ainsley Booth and Sadie Haller , I stand on guard for ye!

This is the first book that I have read by these authors and I was not disappointed! It drew me in while reading the first chapter and kept me interested throughout the book. We meet Ellie and Gavin.. Gavin is the new Prime Minister, 39 years old and hot as sin and has a secret kinky side! Ellie is smart, a few years younger than Gavin but still finds herself attractive to Gavin as is the rest of the female population in Canada but she is an intern for his chief of staff and knows she should not act on that attraction right...Gavin feels the attraction too and does all he can not to act on it but he is tired of being alone and his dominance and wanting to push her boundaries by giving her pleasure she will never recover from! Ellie and Gavin share some funny, tender and very sexy moments...yeah there are some very serious moments as well...throw in Gavin's friend Max (sexy dominant himself) and wow! This was the first book in a new series and I can honestly say that I will read the next book...I hope Max gets his own book in this series as he peeked my interest!

Wow! This is a smoking HOT contemporary romance between Gavin who is a dominant alpha who is intense and likes to play on the wild side with Ellie his super sexy and smart submissive intern, but when their relationship gets serious she quits her job as the Prime Minister's intern in order to prevent the press from destroying his career. I really enjoyed this story and I'm looking forward to reading more books in this series. I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

Ooooo myyyyy gawwdddd this book was everything. It was fing sexy and dirty as hell and it's witty and charming. Gavin is like the perfect sexy alpha protective male. What I love about him most is the delicate care he take with Ellie. He has a generous nature about him and that is more sexy than anything. Ellie is a very bright very spunky and energetic women. You can't help but love her from the start. Those two together are perfect.....they bring out the best in each other. I love the conversations they have and how easy it flows and how much she is willing to let him just.....let him just be him. I was super excited to read this book and I would recommend it to everyone!!!!!

Gavin Strong is a single man that is attracted to an intern in his office, Emily Montague. Being the Prime Minister of Canada definitely has its drawbacks, especially when he likes a little kink on the side. Privacy is a HUGE issue! Though these two are finding it difficult to stay away from each other, it will not look good for Canada's newly appointed Prime Minister to be spanking an intern. Fabulous characters and excellent story line. Booth and Haller make quite the writing team. I wasn't sure about the political background in the story but I was quickly won over at the very beginning. I'm hooked! I can't wait for the next book in the Frisky Beavers series and see what happens to Max. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.
