And we finally get to crack the code that is Dana/Olivia. Obvious that she is hiding something and the little fractures that don’t quite reveal the story finally build to breaking point. Fortunately for her, Finn is in town recovering from injuries he received at a posting with Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and he’s more than a bit interested in this stranger his family has trusted. His attitude, while harsh, was understandable: he’s worked with all sorts of people all around the world, and seen injuries and attacks from the worst of the worst. In fact, he can’t return to work and away from Harmony Harbor because of a rebel attack. He’s angry and frustrated and wants out of the town who knows him too well….yesterday. But there’s something about Dana – and he’s determined to discover what it is. And slowly, Mason allows us to see Finn’s actual good side when the walls around Dana start to crack and her story comes out. Changing her name (she’s really Olivia), her living situation (she’s really a member of the Boston Elite) and trying to overcome the latest kick in the teeth that life handed her (losing her child to cancer), she’s just not willing to open up and allow someone close enough to her to deal another blow. Character driven, Mason allows the stories of Olivia and Finn to work their magic on us and each other. Slowly we see the true caring nature that Finn hides behind sarcasm and some really judgmental statements: his brusque no-nonsense pacing so necessary in his work overseas as patients are many and doctors few are hard habits to break – but he does take the time to listen and hear, not just diagnose and prescribe. Olivia is so strong, with a life that has been full of tragedies, she’s managed to move forward, remain kind and caring (within limits) and find friends that even she doesn’t always realize are there for her. Sweet and gentle, the story draws you in and packs several moments that don’t feel terrifically ‘romantic’ but work beautifully for the plot and this pair. Several wonderful moments bring characters from earlier stories into the mix, and while it builds the sense of community, it also helps to work as a series of examples for the newly discovered couple. While there are no real new grounds broken here, the story is so engaging and the characters so real, you won’t care. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Olivia is hiding out in Harmony Harbor trying to build herself a new life (or just a life she's comfortable existing in), and heal her unfathomable wounds. She's found a haven with the Gallagher family. Dr. Finn Gallagher is eager to get back to his doctor charity work overseas. He feels stuck in town doing his family duty filling in at the local clinic. He's determined to "help" Olivia with her "substance abuse" problem unknowing she's is suffering from acute depression and anxiety due to the death of her son and fallout of her ex-husband's double life. With the help of the Gallagher family, a ghost and a little girl, a little matchmaking ensues and Olivia starts to believe that Harmony Harbor holds her future.

There's just something so addicting about Debbie Mason's books, they are nearly impossible to put down and for some strange reason I always start reading right before bed and the I end up staying up until I finish them. So we are back in Harmony Harbor and this time we get to know Dana or Olivia a lot better, from the moment we meet Olivia at the beginning of the series we know she is hiding something or hiding from someone and in Primrose Lane we finally find out what happened to her in the past and let me tell you she has had heartbreak after heartbreak and now that part is threatening her present so is no wonder she is stresses and maybe overmadicating a little bit and that's when Finn appears, he is a DWB doctor at home in Harmony recuperating after being hurt in the line of duty, he right away picks up something in Olivia that makes him take an interest in her. The interactions between these two were both cute and infuriating at times, I mean I get Finn was trying to help Olivia but Oh Lordy he really messes up a few times and Olivia not opening up to the people that care for her was also infuriating, but throughout the book we see them connect on deeper levels, to recognize the other for what they are and what they mean to each other in the end, I liked that they helped each other a lot and that neither was blind to the others shortcomings instead they talked and supported one another. The book is full of wonderful lovely moments but also the intrigue is strong, and more mysteries start to appear, Harmony Harbor is a place where it seem es everyone has a secret past and I can't wait to find out more.

This is book #3 in the Harmony Harbor series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this fun series in order. Dana AKA Olivia has hidden her identity to protect more than her money. She has taken hit after hit emotionally over the last bit. Just trying to survive takes it toll most days. Then this man, who reminds her too much of her former husband is so infuriating! Finn is getting picked on by the whole family to stay. Like working with Doctors Without Borders is not good enough. Then there is the matchmaking. The woman they want him with is not his type. Or maybe too much his type. This series is full of fun and humor. Such interesting and quirky characters. Just overall a fun read. There were times I wanted to reach into the book and smack the leading man, but hey, that just makes it an interactive book. I cannot wait to see what this author will give us next! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review, by Netgalley and its publishers.

It was easy to connect with Olivia, to feel her pain and devastation. She really had experienced more grief and sadness than most ever have to even think about. But she is a survivor, despite all the hurdles life throughs at her way she is succeeding. Dr. Finn Gallagher certainly doesn't make Olivia's life easier but complicates the matters on all the fronts even more. Finn was a frustrating character, with all his assumptions and quick judgment he takes half truths and bulldozes ahead. It took me a long while to warm up to him as the hero of the story. George is a character that I didn't know if I should have laughed or cried with her antics, obviously being fueled by the confusion of her situation and the resentment she could feel in the air. Primrose Lane is a book three of Harmony Harbor series, and I once again jumped right in the middle of the events, and here it would have been a great benefit to have read the previous books in the series. The Manson and business problems, the rambunctiously loud family, the meddling townfolks, the ghost that scares the kids and saves the day with the cat, the mayhem, the chaos, even the unknown danger lurking around are all makings of part three of the family saga that had me laughing, amazed, and frustrated, as finally exhaling when all is said and done. The story is a roll-a-coaster ride of emotions, events, twists in the plot, and unique characters. So take a deep breath and dive in the fun, emotional, peculiar world of Primrose Lane ~ Four Spoons

If you haven't read this series yet I highly suggest you immediately start because boy are you missing out on some great books! This is the third book in the series and reading it reminds me how much I love this series. This book has it moments that get the tears flowing, but it also has it's make you feel good moments. It also had me laughing. Some really good humor through out the book as well. Olivia, boy she does breaks my heart with having she had to go through. She's a character you root for right form the beginning hoping she gets her HEA because no deserves it more. She could be a bitter woman, but she has such a big heart. Finn may just be a little jaded so it clouds his judgement of Olivia, but soon she weaves her magic when it comes to the good doctor. I got so into this book that I was kind of irritated I had to put it down when life got in the way because all I wanted to do was gobble up this book.

What a lovely and delightful love story! I totally enjoyed getting to know the Gallagher clan and the townsfolk of Harmony Harbor! Harmony Harbor seems like a wonderful place to live or visit. The B&B the Gallagher family owns would be a must for a holiday. Wouldn't be great if places like were real? And well for a few hours they are. Debbie does a wonderful job of weaving a story/plot,the characters and locale into a place you want to spend your afternoon. I thought this wasn't a typical contemporary romance. There was a little mystery involved and some villainy to make this romance a little more interesting and spellbinding. The love story is sweet and just what a reader would want. This was a clean book. No bedroom scenes. The characters were fun and goofy and love able. Finn and Olivia are delightful. They seem to get off on the wrong foot when Finn suspects Olivia is using drugs. Once Olivia 'opens' up and tells Finn was is really going on with her they can't help become friends and later fall in love. The story revolves around Olivia's past with her husband and his mistakes just before his death. When Olivia receives word from his lawyer that he had a daughter and Olivia is named guardian. Olivia's world is torn apart until Finn helps her accept the child that is dumped into her lap. Georgina who goes by 'George' arrives as a bit of a 'terror' but it dosen't take long for every to fall in love with the sweet little girl. Even the grandparents who decide to fight Olivia for custody. Primrose Lane is book 4 in the Harmony Harbor series featuring the Gallagher family. Because I read the book on my phone and I didn't really read the description before I read the book I didn't know it was book 4. I was interested in the rest of the family and wondered if there were other installments. I don't think reader needs to read the books in order. But it would be fun! I loved Primrose Lane and look forward to reading the remainder of the series. I received a complimentary copy from Tasty Tours

Favorite Quotes: Well, she was here, just not here, here. She’d been dead— or undead as the case may be— going on seven months now. Perhaps “passing” would be a more accurate term because she seemed to be betwixt and between. She’d seen the light all right, only she’d been lollygagging, worrying about the ones she was leaving behind, and therefore missed the magic carpet ride to heaven. Chard-a nay-nay. How had she not noticed that the smiles and laughter that she’d faked for so long, that she’d felt only on the surface, had become real and bone deep? She’d never expected to be truly happy again. To have those moments of pure joy that set your heart and mind on fire. My Review: More secrets were exposed, a slow burn romance developed, and the ghostly hauntings continue in the latest installment of this cute series. Family dramas take center stage with a unique plot twist among the large cast of characters. I enjoy the humor and creative storyline and look forward to the widows and family meddling with the remaining two brothers.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I have read this entire series. While this book can stand alone mostly, I really suggest you read the whole thing for the back history. It is #3 in the series and well the series has sorta been a love it and hate it thing for me. I LOVE the characters. I absolutely do which is why I keep reading it. But the plots go off in these directions that I really hate.Which is why its hard to rate. I loved Finn and Olivia/Dana. The first part of the book was fantastic. Finn and Dana have this love/hate thing and as he hobbles around time as she keeps reinjuring him, well I laughed at these two's hijinks. I really do love the characters and the authors sense of humor. But then she (the author) changes the storyline like she did in the other two books and I hated it like I did then too. This would have been a great romance between Dana, a woman in disguise whose super rich and Finn, the doctor who likes to work with the poor. They have great chemistry and they are cute and funny together. Dana is getting over the loss of her son and her bad marriage and Finn is recovering from an injury. Add in matchmakers and this story starts out really great. But then the storyline changes and the author adds in a bigamist marriage and a child that her husband had with another woman who looks like her dead child and now both the mother and father are dead and so she is forced to take care of the child. The child who is not cute and sweet but who is mean and mean spirited and looks just like her dead child. This book could have been great. The writing is wonderful. The characters are great. This should have been a fantastic book, except the author then changes the entire storyline and its just not what I read romances for. If you like pain and angyst in your stories and difficult children, then maybe you will love this story but it was just too much for me to watch a character I grew to love, watch her be tortured on a daily basis. It does bring Finn and Dana closer but I just did not love that aspect of this story.

Just when Olivia Davenport thinks things in her life are starting to settle down and get back on track, she gets thrown for a loop when her ex's daughter shows up on her doorstep. It appears that she is now the young girls guardian, which leaves Olivia completely out of sorts, how can she care for a young child when she can barely take care of herself? Good thing the good doctor Finn Gallagher is on stand-by waiting to step in and help...question is will she except it? The moment Finn Gallagher meets Olivia he can see a woman who is totally out of her element and in great need of help... but she doesn't seem to want any help from him! He is completely fascinated with the mysterious beauty, she is new to town, and no one knows a thing about her, and he'd love nothing more than to be the one to discover all her secrets... if she would just let him in! This was a very moving and enjoyable story that left my heart happy! It had the perfect blend of everything you'd want in a romance story, it was heartwarming , funny, sweet and packed with sizzle! The story line was very well written and easy to connect to, I got so a in it that I wound up reading it all in one sitting. Highly recommend you add this story to your summer reading list, it's a fun little read that will not disappoint! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

Let the tears flow, the heart open and the healing begin. Primrose Lane takes readers on an odyssey of heartache and deep thoughts as it inspires, informs and engages. In an instant one woman lost it all. Her happiness, her family and her ability to believe, now one precious girl, a tenacious man and some meddling mischief makers may help her gain it all back. Ms. Mason deals with hard to take emotions through the eyes of Finn and Olivia. From sorrow so deep it shatters the heart, to taking risks on the road to a fresh start. The mark of a good writer is allowing art to imitate life and Primrose Lane puts that skill to good use as it offers encouragement and hope along the way.
