Wonderful story! Story theme is so good, its inspiring. I loved it.
Marvelous!!! What a great imagination story from a 12 years old Author. Not sure why the other reviewer think bad book. Just ignore haters' comments, they are everywhere. This fiction book is worth reading. There are many life lessons you will learn from this superb fiction book!
The story follows Primrose Fernetis, a 12 year old girl. Her family's financial condition wasn't good so she and her brother, Stanley worked in order to support their father who was severely ill. One day, Primrose went into the forest looking for a nectar that would cure her father. Ultimately she ended up meeting the mystical animals from Mystopical. This group of woodland animals needed Primrose's help in defeating the evil an evil sorcereress who was hell-bent on taking all the magical powers of woodland animals and wiping out humanity from the face of the earth. That's when Primrose realized that she was destined to save the world. Thus her journey began. Throughout this whole adventure, we got to meet many character who had important role to play. Everyone wanted the evil sorcereress /queen be gone for good, their can live without an ouch of fear. But this journey was filled of obstacles and difficulties which they overcome by showing courage. Can Primrose along with her friends save the world? Will the good be victorious over bad? This book was absolutely magical. The imagery and the story itself was utterly lively. I am completely blown away with the vivid imagination. There were colourful illustrations which were adorable. Children books are supposed to be innovative and at the same time must rely some good moral. They should know that good deeds are always respected and no power can shadow an evil doing forever. Primrose's Curse taught exactly the same thing showing that virtues such as sympathy, helpfulness, hope and kindness would go a long way in making a world a better place to live.
Nice Fiction for Children. I liked the way how authors have narrated the story around new friendship of brave girl & woodland animals and how they take down the evil spirit... Impressive book.
One of the best Kids fiction I have read in 2019. Good to know that the story continues..Can't wait to read the next series.
The book is a short perused. I loved the book cover. It is about a young girl named after a blossom, Primrose. She is so excellent, gifted and so hardworking. Her family's monetary condition wasn't great so she and her brother, Stanley worked so as to help their dad who was seriously sick. On one day, Primrose went into the forest searching for a nectar that would fix her dad. Eventually she wound up gathering the supernatural creatures from Mystopical. This gathering of forest creatures required Primrose's assistance in crushing the wickedness a shrewdness Sorcereress who was never going to budge on taking all the supernatural forces of forest creatures and clearing out humankind from the substance of the earth. That is when Primrose understood that she was bound to save the world. Could Primrose alongside her companions save the world? Key learnings from the book Hedwig, the owl teaches us how to stay calm in difficult situations and how duty is more important than leisure. The book also teaches us-love,care and the value of friendship and bravery. What I cherish about fantasies is they begin with a story and closes with "joyfully ever after" Kudos to little 10 year old Kiara Shanker for writting this magnificent book.
Primrose's Curse is a fairy tale of an audacious girl named Primrose and her journey with the mystical woodland animals to vanquish the evil sorceress Queen Evelyn Velecrona and the curse that she has cast on humanity. I think there is no age for reading a fairy tale. And it is meant for everyone. I still love watching/reading cindrella, snowwhite, Rupanzel etc and this one has the same vibe with it. The difference is that this also has a sequel to it named 'Primroses's Destiny' and may be many more books may line up afterwards showing Primroses's and the mystical woodland animals' various adventures together. Since the book is focused on kids they also get a good moral/lesson out of it. 'By helping others, we help ourselves' When we go out all the way, taking risks and facing difficulties to help other people , it will come back to us in a more better way. So always help the needy. The fact that the story came from a middle schooler has really impressed me. The writing is very good. The book contains beautiful illustrations. I recommend this book to kids as well as adults who like reading fairy tales.

Reading this book reminded me of my childhood days and honestly, I needed to read such a book to get out of my reading slump. And now that I got hold of the trick- My dear readers, whenever you wanna get out of a reading slump always choose a children’s book. And start with “Primrose’s Curse”. Truly, it just refreshes your mood and makes you feel light to kick start your reading process on big books again. Now talking about the technicalities -I was intrigued by the book from the very first page. The narration and the beautiful illustrations got me gripped until I finished reading it. Of course, the book is written for kids, so the language is easy to understand and helps you read faster. I loved how the animals were given life in this book; makes it stand out from other books for kids. The character description and the build-up is perfect and adds an extra dimension in understanding the story. I just can’t appreciate this book enough. It is a highly recommended read, especially for kids and I don’t think you should miss on it. It is a perfect gift for the kids and I am sure they will love it. And hey, buy it soon ’cause you don’t wanna miss out on the sequel- “PRIMROSE’S DESTINY” 5/5
This story is about a girl, Primrose who got cursed by the witch. But she didn't know anything about it and before knowing that she lost her mother. Her family suffered a lot because of the curse. When and how did she turn the curse into a blessing? Who will help her to do that? is the remaining story. It is a magical book which is really recommeded to the kids. And Adults also find this as an attaractive one for sure. I finished within a few hours and it was engrossing. The ending is very nice. Definitely it's wonderful book.
It's my first experience with something called a Fairy Tale that also from a blooming mind of a little girl It was really a fantastic time to read a fairy tale which was pen down in such a beautiful way. The author has done a brilliant job right from the beginning the way she picked up the pace and maintained it through the book is really appreciable. Story line is very cute and attractive just like the way we imagine the fairy-tale. Narration is very crisp and won't let you put it down. I completed this book in a single go (it's that interesting). Language is lucid and understandable. It's a very short book just under 150 pages but very enjoyable read and with pictures that level increases more. I am looking forward to read more from this Lil author.
